Discussion idea...golf has the claret jug and the wanamaker trophy, NBA has the Larry O'Brien trophy, MLB has the Commissioner's Trophy, NHL has the Stanley Cup...shouldn't pickleball start a tradition either for the finals of the year or the MLP finals at the end of the year. Could be called the ERNE CUP or the JBB cup named after the original founders Joel, Bill and Barney. Or something else... The winning team or doubles team...etc.get their names engraved on the cup and history and tradition starts...Thoughts??? Good discussion topic after Xander Schaufele won the claret jug last weekend...

I would say Jaume or even James are the most athletic guys. For me athleticism in the traditional sense, is speed and power. Jaume is probably the fastest guy on tour, has crazy drives and speedups which translates to power. But in a smaller frame, so he’s compensating mass with speed. The only thing he lacks is maybe jumping ability. While I think Christian is probably a good athlete, his athleticism gets alot of credit that his height is really affording him.

Yeah, those are two great options. I'd love to see a variety of these pros compete or show off their skills in a range of different sports...would be fun to see who adjusts and how quickly.

jimmy,I get you’re sick of talking about the call but to say history of calls is not relevant in this context is the definition of hypocritical. Evey time you talk about salome’s bad calls, her history of calls is brought up. If it’s relevant for her, it’s relevant for michelle

I'd go out on a limb to say Salome has slightly a bit more history than Michelle with the line calls history, just in our opinion. I think was JM was trying to say is anytime we bring up somebody, its hard to do a quick synopsis of their entire history, whether that be line calls, ball abuse, paddle abuse, funny stories, etc etc.

If the 5’s are keeping the dream breaker strategy, they should drop Zane and pick up Chris Haworth

zane is doing just fine in DBs, why would u trade him. no one can guarantee chris will do better. plus zane won't lose forever, he ll get more wins as marie and will get more experience

Yeah, Chris is top of the line in singles, however, Zane has actually done quite well in the dreambreakers and though his record is bad in doubles, Zane is is competitive.

Trading Zane for Hayworth is a terrible idea. Hayworth is totally unproven in doubles. Especially consider how crucial it is to perform in mixed doubles. Zane has struggled at times, but he CAN compete with the top men and so he has to be their alpha guy. Are you really going to rely on Will to be their Alpha? There’s a reason he’s with ALW. Zane is a top 15 singles player still. He just choses not to play anymore. Lastly, dream breaker performance is chaos. Nobody gets in a rhythm. So if normally you have a matchup where one player is favored by 80%, the limit of four points probably brings that down to 60%. Singles proficiency is important. Singles mastery in the overall format is NOT important. Hell even Lee Whitwell did okay in dreambreakers. Not a prime singles player by any stretch. Maximize your doubles performance.
