Quinn is just a phenomenal guy. What a great session! I’d also suggest bringing on the former manager of Quincy Crew, Jack Chen. He knows a ton about Dota and is just as nice and funny as you can get.

i disagree, although Quinn isn't really bad coach but he get distract in game easily and sometimes don't guide his student in game like bsj do. bsj constantly guide his student while coaching and give in depth analyze why his student should play what he say.

There is a better "last hit training" than Demo Mode. It can be accessed inside DotA2 -> Learn -> Training -> page 3 -> Last Hit Training. I always suggest to anyone who wish to learn DotA to play it 1-2 times in-between games until he hits at least 90% hit rate there.

Grubby or anyone looking to improve needs to read this comment. Getting 85% last hit/deny success rate recommended by BSJ in this mode helped me get to Ancient after being hard stuck in Archon.

@@kjyu Yes, but having a bit of a break in-between games is great. Mentally and physically to relax, to do something else as well. I usually practice at least 20 minutes between game to do some chore, stretch a bit, practice some last hitting etc. While I do think that Quinn should be aware, you will be surprised how many players are not.

@@Maccelerate In my opinion you should practice this to get to 90-95%. After that is achieved for a few consecutive days start over but instead of regular last hits, you should aim to make last hits at the highest possible health, even if you lose some last hits and do that with different heroes for their damage cap - example Treant Protector. Once you achieve back the 90-95% with this method you will be able to comfortably last hit securely during games and be able to focus your processing power into decision making.

To be honest pro players know hidden mechanics that have some of the mathematical concepts. You only have basic stuff yet bro, DotA 2 has like thousands of mechanics but I don't know why any of your coaches didn't mention it a single time.

Long time ago i was top 100 players of WC3 in Europe and played Grubby few times... lost all games vs him.. And now I'm watching him how much worse mechanics he have in Dota2 it's wird to see Legend Grubby how good he is in WC3 but does not have feeling for Dota fighting. I Just can't explain how our brains works, because if you try to fight Grubby in some "Micro wars" he would destroy 99,99% of Dota players for sure. And on the other side He would lose a lane fight vs me almost every time.. he just does not have feeling when to hit enemy hero when to last hit etc. But shout out to Grubby because he is a true Legend!!!

I think Grubby with 100 hours of Dota will beat most of us with 1000 hours of dota. He just hasn't played enough.

That's not a matter of a difference in how your brain works. That's just a matter of difference in experience. It's extremely strange you would try to say "he just doesn't have the feeling" when there's never really been a time in history where someone just picks up DotA(or anything with a steep learning curve for that matter) and is instantly at the pro level. If he has the same amount of hours as you, it would end up just like your WC3 games where he crushes you every time.

I think because he is a streamer, we usually look down to mini map, but when he have time he uses to look up the chat board and answer people. If he plays while not streaming he probably does better a lot.

The minimap is edited in after the game, from the replay, because Grubby uses a hidden minimap to prevent stream sniping ;)
