My favorite part of Satisfactory if you didn't know is the Devs took Josh's save file to help optimize the game. And one update whenever they reset everyone's saves, Josh didn't lose his. The Devs gave it back to him.

Also worth to mention is that screenshot with his conveyor belt tornado is on official game page on Steam. In other game, Hydroneer devs put sign in town when you are buying stuff "punishing" ( in funny way) him for his exploits which they patched.

Fun fact, the developers reached out to Josh and got his Save file so that they could use it to optimize the game. Frames were fixed soon after.

I mean the guy worked as bug fixer / game tester and made that into a youtuber career. So he basically does both - bringing games to their limits and above AND letting us have fun with it.

When you say 'Creative Mode' that's not a thing in the game. At least without mods. But it's not hard to come by the resources for relatively simple stuff like conveyors. You can automate it quite easily. Even with this mess of a factory. So with a little setup it's basically like creative mode - just with occasional stops to stock up on materials from a container.

The map would take you HOURS to cross without weapons and beeing on the ground. With jetpacks, hypercanon launchers and weapons to not die, going in an airline, it would still take 10+min

The map is about 8000 meters at its longest dimension, you can run at around 8 m/s - so about 16 minutes real time - assuming no terrain based delays. Satisfactory day/night cycle takes 50 minutes. So about 7.5 hrs in game time. ~ 1 km/h You can run faster with certain equipment and techniques (slide-jump) increasing this to over double the speed (crossing the map in 7 minutes). ~2 km/h A train can travel a scaled 120 km/h . I routinely travel on-foot because I can't be bothered to build a car, plus you find a lot of hidden caves and other resources on foot that you might miss when flying or driving.

Not only does the cocoon get worse with each episode, but the vicinity around it gets worse with it.

The map is roughly 5 km top to bottom, 7.75 km corner to corner. even with bladerunners it takes a while to run from one end to the other Blade runners they are leg braces the make you run faster, jump higher, and allows you fall from higher up before you take damage. On death up to Update 7 you dropped everything, and your death crate dropped near where die, and you have to go get it. In update 8 (experimental) you still drop your inventory, but not the gear you have equipped

so, for what other satisfactory gamers can attest to, even with his nightmarish setup, the only curse is the frame rate and fall damage. He would still have enough resources to build everything by hand. Keeping at only 3 health, he must have an ungodly number of health items, or the patience to die and reset over and over and over and over again.

Commenting two months later. For anyone watching this for the first time and have only recently started playing SatisFactory. When he recorded this, there was no creative mode. So he had to build all of this the old fashion way. Though thats not too hard honestly.

More than 100k meters since of how he made a new base instead of the tornado base that took 5-8 hours also he made a new base like sliding for approximatly 2-3 hours

if you want something hard, that may sound really easy but is actually super hard, then I recommend this, if you are familiar about the game known as Minecraft then you may be familiar with mods right? Well there is a specific modpack that is one of the hardest modpacks in the community known as RLCraft, it's a really hard modpack with over 1000+ mods, to be sure it's something worth trying if you are up for the challenge. Although If you have played the game then cool, but now you have to play it on a much higher level of death and destruction, from body temperature and thirst to the scary monsters such as wraiths, sea serpents, parasites, demons, trumpet skeletons, and a ton more, to get started, hopefully your spawn won't be right next to a dragon nest, also did I say there were dragons? Well, yes, those things are hard to fight and they deal quite a ton of damage to someone who has not the best amount of armor. Also his is awesome, love your vids and goodbye.
