Honestly the jump to freelance has been the best decision of my life. Although it does cause instability I love the freedom and potential for growth I get, compared to working in an agency. Have got to meet some amazing people and work on really fun projects. Definitely consider it, but be willing to put all of your time into it for at least the first 6 months to a year.

Great video! I understand that the cons can be quite irritating but I believe that with enough discipline, issues like a lack of social life and marketing can be (even if only slightly) solved. Freelancing is definitely something I want to get into- specifically with video editing. Just wondering, when editing, what's the production + post-production ratio for most freelance editing jobs?
