skating does not take that much energy and you can gain a lot of speed. and its fun when you push hard to go faster. I have 3x110 and I constantly overtake people on bikes only people on electric bikes or skin suit bikers can keep up. I don't think I would need this unless I'm going against the wind on a flat for a very long distance.

It’s definately not a need, and producing my own speed and all the benefits which come from being self powered are definately preferred but it’s a fun experience in itself for sure.

Atmosgear is blazing the trail for the future of skating, I feel like they are shooting for the average skater which is good and bad. This is a great review. I still cringe on the short high wheel base on them, but could be wrong, but our man in the vids here Ricardo is a pro and he looks shaky on them, even on the offroad vids he owned it. We been using the Rollercycle for years the extra stability of having a third wheel is pretty nice would go right up the hill in the video. that being said its additional gear. What would like to see is the Atmos Gear setup with 4 x 125 Powerslide type air filled wheels, two center wheels are motors. The air filled tires would absorb the terrain better and be more stable they would go off road a bit more, the extra drive wheel would give more power uphill. This would be less maneuverable but more stable, and also work on hard pack trails. have allot of videos of the Rollercycle pretty fun last one had a 10,000 watt motor was pretty close to being a motorcycle or ebike. But naturally would be nice to find a setup that is just motorized skates. Sadely too i think AG should have a heal brake or cuff brake as backup or old school stop, i know that's lame but i think would be nice to have. 4 x 125 air filled. also that would make tire change less of a deal too no unscrewing a two piece hub, or proprietary tire..

The cables and fannypack will always be a nuisance that isn't worth the hassle. I really want to like these and good luck to the company. The only situation I could see these being useful would be if you commute somewhere regularly going uphill and would prefer to arrive not being sweaty.

Hey there ! Not from the AtmosGear team, but an Atmos Rider myself, I wanted to chime in and clarify something. You guys probably figured it out off camera, but I felt like clarifying for everyone else : at 12:59 Rob long presses the 2nd button which makes led blink ; this is not the speed setting, it only change the *battery indicator display*. To change the speed it's just a simple press on this button. It'll change the LED color, from red to yellow and then to green, then red again and so on. Green is weaker, and red is strongest. To go up such a hill you most definitely want to be on red :>

I can already read the news about 1000s of adults in accidents with cars because of "eRoller Skate Brake malfunctions" I think it's the same as ebikes all over again. It's not that it's not going to be easier and faster, it's just not the same. The reason my Ebike are so popular is because Bikes are the king at transportations, but scooters on batteries can be just as fast and smaller. But you still have handlebars and breaks. Skate boards and Skates are not like that. They are not comfortable for everyone and you can get hurt really easy. Not to mention NO GRIP IN WET. No one cares about regular transportation if it's impossible in the rain. They also can't take uphills ... where Ebikes and scooters shine before the normal onces. People with more money will buy it, they buy everything that is more expensive and premium :)

Hmm... would like to see a test without the use of motors to compare to normal skates. I think the product is solid, but I don't see a use for me. I guess if you mount them on some Doops would make more sense.

Rocardo, where is the weight of the supporting leg on 5 wheel frame on front crossovers? Cant be the same second wheel from the front as on conventional 4 x frames?
