The waves and skim work are amazing, but my favorite by far is the commentary!!!! “What……..OH MY GOSH”. Nothing better about the ocean than remaining in constant disbelief for how awesome it is!!! Being this connected to nature really can cause this much genuine excitement in your life…….pure stoke👊🏻🙏😊

There is a gigantic risk to riding inshore waves like that. I was body surfing a pretty big wave south of Rosarito Beach, Mexico when I was 27. An extra big set came in ... as I was at the top of that wave ready to drop down naturally much of the water was drawn out that left about 2 ft of water for me to land in I tried to back out of the wave sideways and I wound up being driven down onto the Sandy Bottom. that wave rolled me right over my left arm snapping my upper arm just like a twig and shattering it and dislocated it. It was a terrible break and took a long time to heal. Lot of fun to ride those Inshore waves but the sand that you might hit that's the big factor that many probably don't think of. So have fun but be careful you might break your neck or break your arm but if that's what you want to do go for it.

Everybody gets a little bit of sand buffed skin but it looks cool running into the wave! Timing is everything - but skill is most important! 😅 At least you only get clobbered for a few seconds and not churned forever like the big surf spots.

The camera man never gets wet - except when you get wet ;-) The advantage is, you can't get wetter than wet. But the conditions were also hard for the surfers... Waves that are stable for no longer than a second ;-) All right, it's fun. No time for long rides, just try to stay away from the rough sea floor under the waves and have fun ;-)
