God I miss snowboarding. I did it for a out 3-4 years but then my family moved down south (I was in high school when we moved down south). Haven't snowboarded since but God do I miss it. I remember the very first trail I went, I literally kept falling every few feet. I just kept at it and eventually could go down comfortably :)

The first clip and Johnny Tsunami were both filmed at Brighton Ski Resort in Utah. I have spent over 20 years riding there and I remember watching the camera crews during filming. Brighton is known as snowboarder heaven. Also, 2 resorts that are anti-snowboarding are in Utah. Both Alta and Deer Valley prohibit snowboarding in the resort. Fun facts.

Just watched Cloud 9 cuz of this video and the point was she was supposed to be bad on that run. Her dad paid off the judges so she thought she was awesome when she wasn't. Even the announcer was like I guess that was an air...and another air. Just wanted to share that the movie wasn't trying to pass that off as an epic run

You'd be surprised how far people ski above their limit. We had someone walking down a double black (because they couldnt ski it) get taken out by another skier. It was their first day and they wanted to ski with their friends but their friends left them on the double black. She's lucky she wasnt more seriously injured, we told her to get new friends.

I've actually had my board hit me in the back of my head. I caught my toe edge while I was going pretty fast and went down face first and my legs and board came up over my back and hit me in the head. My back was sore for a while after that, bodies don't bend that way lol.

I've seen Cloud 9 and I have to explain the scene. In the ski station where apparently everybody lives knows that Dove Cameron's character is not so great as a snowboarder except herself, so her father (the owner) and her coach usually get rid of the good female competitor so she can win. That's the reason she's not doing good tricks but still has a high score
