Men and women have trouble hitting in the opposite sport. Baseball, the ball starts highs and goes low, while softball starts low and goes high, also considering the distances of the mounds. I would like to state shes is using a softball bat, which is significantly lighter than a baseball bat. They all have trouble hitting because they've been training to hit a certain kind of pitch, both men and women. There are videos of men trying to hit softball pitchers. Its funny.

to be fair, the glove signs are a bit different in softball. (HS Coach here) once you're a competitive pitcher you don't throw fastballs in games anymore as well.

She can’t hit the 90+ MPH fastball well and she knows it, so she’s gonna watch strikes and trash talk. Because 90+ mph fastballs are very hard to hit well, even when they’re being thrown by a pitching machine. And these fastballs are being thrown by MLB pitchers. She did pretty good by making contact, but yeah not an easy thing to hit “the one” even when you know it’s coming, so she watched a few of them go by.
