they are street slicks. Its most likely whats required in the class they are in. if they go with a full flat slick it will put them in a different modified class and might make them need wheelie bars. Just a guess I could be wrong

what rpms are they hitting before they go?
@Epillon11 жыл бұрын
Extended swing arms give the bike a longer wheel base making it harder to wheelie off the line. These guys are launching HARD off the line without a wheelie bar to catch them. 7 sec runs are silly fast for street legal bikes.

I saw a 7.13, a 7.21 and a 7.24. I didn't see any 7.18. Or am I missing something?

How do they shift if they don't keep their feet on the pegs? The guy on the first run is sticking his feet out (I can't see the point in that either). Do they convert them to shift my hand somehow? Or is he already in top gear by then so it doesn't matter? And lol at the girl who runs 7.21 vs a 7.69 on a hot pink bike. I like her!

From what I understand don’t all sport bikes need to be wound up like a 2 stroke almost to get in the power, I got a r600 and only supersport I’ve been on and it doesn’t really start ripping until 7k ish rpms and keeps getting more power all the way until redline at 13. Upright bikes like fz09 which I have also has all torque down low and it seems like bikes like that would be better for drag racing. Granted none of these bikes are in stock form so they may be different and i guess a super light flywheel would do the job.
@BloodstainedSinner11 жыл бұрын
3:31 Is a turbo that big really necessary for that engine?
@Bobby-fj8mk7 жыл бұрын
The bikes are so different from stock that they might as well put a slick flat profile tyre on the rear wheel. I bet they'd go a lot better then.
@Bobby-fj8mk6 жыл бұрын

All I see is " you see busa after busa because they are cheap" I find it funny because that's what people say about any car with a GM LS engine. "They run them because they are cheap" well hell that's what makes them great cheap to build and stupid fast. No one wants to waste shit tons of money to have fun.

r u serious? 1320ft bra, the quarter mile,how ever alot of the tracks are running 1000 ft these days
stretching the bike gives better stability in straight lines, lower center of gravity, handle more torque without popping wheelys, etc. But stretching them out like that makes it very shitty to make turns and such.

Thats funny, my mechanic and builder charges a little over 100 grand to build a pro street bike guaranteed to go low 7's 1/4 mile, and charges same thing to build a nhra pro stock bike, they arent more expensive at all, just a different build then a pro street or real street class built motor.
