A hand carder is a type of tool used in fiber preparation (like preparing it to spin in yarn) you can find them on etsy or ebay, or just googling should get you don't decent results. If you need help, let me know :)

i have a question maybe you can help. im machine washing my sheepskin and hanging it to dry , but the smell is awful as if its mildewing. any tips for that? i cant hang it outside i live in the city.

If you can't put it outside, try turning a fan on it. Wool holds onto moisture and needs space and air movement to allow evaporation to happen. Otherwise it will mildew.
