Brilliant!!!! Best explanation for us old guys who are just starting out in audio and intimidated by computers. My dream of recording an album seems so much brighter. Thank you so much!!!!!

I just finished this series, as an audio engineering student hoping to better my PT skills. This video series taught me more than a semester long pro tools course. I do wish he had brought up the vocals a little more, as they sound a bit buried behind the other tracks and the secondary vocals were nearly nonexistent. It would be nice to have a chance to listen to the full song after going through the series, and listen to how those changes reflected across the song - is there a place we can listen to the completed work? Great series, and thank you for the breakdown of the items. I've felt protools is very user unfriendly for getting started. I'm slowly working my way up to benefiting from the range of tools available and integrating them into a smooth workflow.

is there a way to connect a real life mixer to pro tools? i just purchased a mixer and i want to connect it to my computer and i want to use that instead of the one on protools.

My Pro tools Intro does not have panning pots in the mix window. How can I find them?

So we should add compressors and eqs to individual vocals and not on a bus all across the board. Less grouping and compress and eq more individual stems.. I been doing this wrong lol
