This video is exactly something I've been searching for! I'm a vocalist, and I record in my bedroom, and I'm trying to learn the basics of mixing. Most videos on KZbin are a much higher level, and I can't keep up with all their clicks and shortcuts, and I get very discouraged very quickly. This is gold, and I'm sitting here taking notes with pen and paper, pausing every few seconds, and trying out the shortcuts on my own session! I can't say thank you enough!!

amazing that it helps! cheers

I actually really love this part of the process. I’ve been using ProTools for 20 years, but just when I think I know almost everything, I find there’s so much more to learn. Thank you for the tips. I think everyone who uses ProTools knows a thing or two that someone else doesn’t. One of the reasons that I like this DAW the best is because you can do the same thing in multiple different ways. I learned a lot and just the first three minutes of this video

Thanks so much for posting this. I;ve been using Pro Tools extensively for quite a while, but the Smart Tools is something I (ashamedly) never delved into. I like to have very neat, clean, and orderly tracks and your tips saved me lots of time today. Thanks!
