How was he able to tap the rabble master for convoke at 3:35 ? He doesn't have haste.
@Proteomics

A creature with summoning sickness cannot attack or use an ability with the 'tap' symbol. But can still be tapped by an ability that says 'Tap target creature'. Does that make sense?

+Miketswilletts thanks I never knew that! Haha the amount of games I've lost coz I thought I had to wait a turn to convoke a chord of calling with my Elspeth tokens. Thank you so much 😊

Look up a card called Grand Architect. Its a blue 3 drop which uses the same mechanics. The second you play it, you may tap any untapped creature, even those with summoning sickness.

Can someone clear this up for me please? This version of Erase... Is, or isn't it the Urza's Legacy one?

How can Stoke the Flames be convoked for 3 at 5:38? You need two red and convoke only does colorless.
@ArcticKippo
@ArcticKippo 9 жыл бұрын
Keller Gordon Creatures can convoke for their color, so the red goblin token can convoke for red, Seeker of the Way can convoke for White, Atarka can convoke for red OR green etc.

Sad to Sigrist punt game 3 by not respecting the Rabblemaster at all. DUnless you have the Drown in Sorrow in hand, you have to just do whatever it takes to get that thing off the field as fast as you can before it gets ridiculous.

Unfortunately Mike Sigrist made 2 severe missplays in game 3. First he was affraid to play his rhino because he was affraid too much of a counter. He should have gone for it and back it with sorin afterwards. By trying to play around a counter he lost all the tempo he had in the match. Second he didn't choose the second rabblemaster and left them go wild later. Even good players can make mistakes

Vardaris While we can see how those decision matched up poorly, it's not that easy to say those choices were bad, they were judgement calls, a DS would removed his only threat that is something you can't afford yourself to bait with. And not +1'ing Sorin on an empty board like LSV explained is something way to hard too see on the spot.

Vardaris Actually both times were the correct plays because on the first one he broke even in life and he didn't want to loose the rhino, also he has a couple kill spells in the deck so he has a chance to kill it on his next draw. On the second one the second time was less good but once again the rhino is important to keep and there are kill spell in the deck (even though he didn't get them). In regards to the Sorin -2 that is the right play in my opinion because you want some board state with an empty board.

@Daniel castillo not to spoil your attempt to make fun of them for playing magic with your forever alone comment, but mike sigrist is married, just sayin'. Unless that comment was pointing towards something other than that meaning, in which case you never know lol

Shaun McLaren is 26 years old? Can that really be true? Looks like 35, poor guy...

Nah, McLaren doesn't look that old. He just weighs a bit more than the average 26 year old, which sort of makes him look older. Also, he could really use a shave.
