The crazy thing about Genshin music is that every time they release a new track, I feel like I'm listening to the peak of Genshin soundtrack... only for them to outdo themselves in the next release! It's absurd that they keep doing it... all while representing so many wildly different cultures and backgrounds of music! It's incredible! Thanks for always doing these Genshin videos! I always thoroughly enjoy them!

Natlan’s music is peak, imagine they elevate it with Snezhnaya and Khaenri’ah. I can no longer wait.

I'm of the personal opinion that Genshin has the greatest OST of any videogame that's ever existed. At least I've never listened to a videogame soundtrack that tops Genshin's, and I've listened to A LOT, including Final Fantasy, which a lot of people seem to compare Genshin's soundtrack too.

It's all in Swahili! You should watch it again with the subtitles on, the lyrics actually say a fair bit about the Natlan region. The wooden flute the man's playing in the first song is called a quena, and the woman's panflute is called a zampoña. The musicians are from Peru, but I've heard that the instruments are used in several South American countries. The little ceramic whistle in the second song is an ocarina. Unfortunately I don't know the names of a bunch of the other instruments.

They actually sang part of the first piece during a ritual in the game. Before i fell in love with Nobuo Uematsus work on FF and was floor by how well they translated the memorable pieces into actual instruments like an orchestra. Genshin impact however turns this spirit of music making for games straight into a plethora of masterclass of musicians staright into a production. No other game music has made me feel that game and it becomes even more memorable when you actually olay the game. To answer you question practically everything youve heard from Genshin being played is played exactly how it is in-game. A free game i might add.

Everything is sang in african language Swahili. Instrumentals are from; african, pre columbian american, and latino american cultures with even australian twists.

Don't forget Pacific Islands. I live in the Philippines and the people of the spring have a lot in common with our pre-colonial culture.

I hope you add the word "NATLAN" in the title of your video so that it is easier for people to find this video

Don't worry about pausing too much :) There are plenty of reactors who aren't music experts and are solely there to react and watch the video, and that's fine. But those with actual musical backgrounds and knowledge, I very much enjoy hearing their analysis.

rule number 1, turn on subtitles 😂

my first instinct with video in unknown language is turn on the subtitles so it shocked me to see some people keep wondering tf the vid is saying without looking at the subtitles button

And then there's me who prefers to just listen to the intonation of another language without wanting to know what they're actually saying 😂 spoils it for me sometimes but I did look it up anyway

Natlan is characterized by its adherence to "war," the Pyro Archon Mavuika's ideal. Cultural References. Natlan appears to be inspired by several indigenous cultures, primarily those of Pre-Columbian Latin America, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Oceania, though other, more minor influences - such as from the American Southwest - are also present.

They also use a type writter in these songs. And when i heard the first time i was glad i was playing to go into this region (that now is 100%).

Hope you reply but i think i can explain some part of the music for the first music The usage of tribal instruments origin from central, south america and africa: Natlan are inspired by said region The formation and flow: Natlan are said to be Nation of War which the song are portraying the spirits of the people of Natlan The sudden silence: some selected people can be reincarnated if they died in the ongoing war and achieved a victory. The war came in waves and each wave will have a different selected people to go join the war. Through the song, specifically the part after the build up after the silence, are said the be the "Ode of Resurrection" where the soul of the fallen victor can be resurrected

The subtitles will give you a hint of the purpose of the song. In game you will hear this during Natlans main quest (archon quest). Thanks for your react and comments as always!!

What song is meant to be heard by stopping it constantly and spending more time talking than hearing it. I think you have good points. I like hearing them. React _then_ analyze.
