I love the tournament winnings getting evened out (perhaps a bit too far with first place= last place). I've always thought it would be really hard to be competitive in any of these single player sports that has supper outsized winnings for first compared to last (tennis is another example) because breaking in is so expensive. So we get dynasty players as new players try to "come up" get a few good games in but end up getting thrashed and end up running out of money before they really hit their max skill.

Pretty much all of professional sports are a rich persons thing. With maybe the exception of basketball and soccer. The rest require specialized equipment, access to practice areas, money for coaches, and people to take kids to and from practice. I think that is part of the reason soccer (football) is so popular around the world. All you need is something that is round to kick and a small area where you can mark the boundaries and goals. Or if there isn't any space, just taking shots on a goal marked on an outside wall. Or inside wall.

The terrans benefit tremendously in terms of resources. Thanks to MULE, I spend less resources on SCV and only have 1 type of mechanic shield-up, so there is a lot of resource benefit The scanning range is also very wide. On the other hand, Protoss & Zerg need to invest more in ground and air defense upgrades respectively Even Zerg & Protoss' defense towers cannot recover resources, but Terran has another resource benefit with the bunker recovery function In terms of resources, Protoss & Zerg are at a huge disadvantage overall The zerg is still garbage INFESTOR skill Deleted but Ghost skill always non Deleted!!!!WTH! Zerg units are expensive to upgrade and take a long time to complete The tech building is also expensive, but you have to invest 50 more minerals called drones there and pay 50 minerals again to produce the lost drone Are the zerg a cheap tribe? Fukshieeeeet. Zerg most expensive and inefficient tribe Zerg adds minerals and gas when transforming units No race is more expensive than the Zerg One last thing on my mind. Terran Cyclone & Battle Cruiser can auto-attack Protoss Phoenix & Carrier can auto-attack Zerg have no such units Blizzard needs to patch these issues quickly nonono, please delete the zerg SC2 only requires Terran and Protoss Blizzard Always just trash balance thank you so much!

I had a dream a couple of nights ago where I saw a warp prism warp in a mothership (I'm not sure, I think it had to warp in a medium sized, "intermediary ship" which was large enough to warp in the mothership). The mothership then floated over a town and cast slow time on it to study the human activity. The mothership was ~3 miles long and the slow time was also increased porportionaly.

I occasionally have a recurring dream where I'm either a ghost or maybe even civilian or something and I'm watching as a fellow ghost calls down a nuke and I'm just overjoyed to be able to witness the destructive awe. I don't even play SC2, much less play as terran.

Based on just looks alone, I do love Hecate the most out of these maps. Very crisp-looking, very nice colours. Besides, mythology reference to boot! 29:29 Zerg units under direct control of Swarm most likely don't think with exception of higher control beings (Queens, Cerebrates). Zerg outside of Swarm control probably think as much as feral animals. But it even if they could think, it would be impossible inside stasis field. In majority of cases in science fiction, Starcraft universe included, stasis field is defined as area in which time is stopped by various means. As there's no flow of time, entities trapped inside are unable to think, as all atoms and electrons are frozen in time. Reason why they cannot be affected by external forces. Entities inside stasis field won't even know they were in one if surroundings won't during the time they were trapped.

Hero went for a mass blink stalker (with the goal of getting to the point lambo did in game 3) recently and @ProbeSC2 made a video on it called "Protoss has created a terrible build order". You simply build stalkers and constantly trade. There's nothing else to it. It's an absolute blast and way more viable than you'd think below the highest highest levels

I strongly dislike the underwater themes for maps. It's not all that big a deal, but I keep thinking that many of the ground units should effectively become slow flying units. When zerglings are under an ocean or whatever but aren't swimming over obstacles, it ruins the verisimilitude/internal consistency to some extent.
