I'm looking to rig this 8 feet in the air. Would traditional C-Stands support this at that hight safely and steady?

Hello, A traditional C-stand might exhibit some wobbling at such an elevated height. We recommend considering Junior Pin Stands with thick top pipes to enhance your equipment's stability and support, especially at greater heights. You can explore products like the Kupo Master Cine Stand Silver, which you can find here: kupogrip.com/kupo-master-cine-stand-silver/ If you have any more questions or need further assistance, please feel free to reach out to our sales team at +91-8283902255 or email us at sales@proaim.com Team Proaim

790$ for a metal version of a diy slider. Without the rails too. Good joke, guys
@ProaimGlobal5 жыл бұрын
Yeah. We thought so too, but then we tried to DIY this portable dolly, and found it near impossible to make all these bowls, end foots, Mitchell cuts, speed rail clamps, and wheel assemblies without the use of proper automated CNC Machines. Even after that, hours went into finding the right bearings so the wheels run smooth, finding the wheels so they can bear the load for long durations, anodising, manual assembly of the final components, testing and finally packaging all this. After trying all this, and doing lots of prototyping, we thought the price tag was pretty fair and went with it.
