I know it's not the same, but I can't help but wonder how the rokinon cine DS lenses with a black pro mist 1/4 stop would compare (significantly cheaper). although build quality on these is no doubt better

The flares are rainbow colored, edges are well defined. no bokeh swirling or 3d pop either. It looks disconnected for a true vintage look.
