I dont get why you didnt times the bottom half of the fraction by 11 as well??? like the (x+4) (x+3) why didn't you times that by 11 too?

he multiplied both sides by 11, the right hand side the 11 gets cancelled out whereas the left side it cant therefor stays or get multiplied by 12.

Something really simple is cross multiply when you get to that step so bottom of second equation multiples to top of first equation and top of second equation multiplies bottom of first equation - since 11 was the numerator for 2nd equation you cross multiply to the denominator of the second equation

Since you're dividing fractions imagine flipping the second fraction making the 11 times by 12, then 1 times (4+x)(3+x)

late reply here, but +15 and -8 add to make 7. however, this means x+15 = 0, and x-8 = 0, so the x values are actually -15 and 8
