@@ProbablyPretentious Damn really!? But yeah I can imagine it’s a loophole of information that branches off. The main time I did a lot of research was when learning about creating anime styled art accurately, where I studied douga work and the colour programs. Nowadays if I want to do my anime art comps I used aliased lines with coloured segments, and then colour them using a cheeky version of RETAS Paintman I have.

BTW, I remember Ryu Nakayama was also credited as a storyboarder in episode 7 of chainsaw man

He was one of the three storyboard artists for that ep, alongside keichiro Watanabe and somebody else, can't remember who, so he didn't storyboard that ep in its entirety

Yeah, I hate it when people bash the CGI Gauchuu because of how “bad” they are. When I actuality those were one of the most complex CGI things to render, yet they were rendered successfully. I wish more people understood that the CGI Gauichuu probably helped CGI Evolve (seriously those things have separate moving parts)
