Was an okay anime, became popular as it was pretty recommendable. People into more seasonal anime from its popularity. Longer time fans didn't like the second half of the season. The newer fans who had only seen cartoon network anime thought it was the best shit ever. People who saw it early in their anime history have high memories of it, people who had seen a lot more remember it being over hyped and over popular so it must have been really shit. It was alright, not a masterpiece, not a garbage fire. But when people claim it was objectively a masterpiece it spawned a lot of backlash attacking it, causing people to remember it worse than it was or better than it was and defend it.

@@honestbatreviews6837 when understanding why is hated, you have to know that SAO is not just bad, it is not self-aware, like everything is frame as super serious even tho all in is utter BS, but the thing is that this anime represents the most widespread type of infection the anime community is suffering rn, SCAPISM, it tries to be deep and tell something, but it comes off just as a parody of it, it is just a boring repetitive male fantasy. Besides thar, part of the hate comes from the fact that it is everywhere, it is annoying when something that isnt that good is in every coner of the community, SAO was (and still is) a massive hit

Somewhere along the line it became popular to hate on SAO so now it's always gonna have a large group of people that dislike it just for the sake of disliking it. Realistically the first few seasons were alright, while the last few were very good. The light novels are a completely different ballpark than the adaptation though, straight 10/10s.

As a huge Love Live fan, I'll tell you why I enjoy it! When I first got into the anime, I was in a really bad place mentally. I wasn't really happy, I had so much anxiety, and depression. I was starting to think of giving up trying. But watching Love Live actually made me feel so much better. It made me smile, and laugh, & really helped during that dark time. The characters are so cute, I love the music, and the storylines. To me, Love Live is one of the best anime I've watched, and it will always have a special place in my heart. It's not for everyone, of course, but I really don't think it's as bad as the way you're making it seem. It's just a cute musical anime, that has helped many people like me!

There's no huge adversity or competition and everyones happy. I don't love Love Live. I'm no good at rhythm games, I don't like the anime, it's a bit too much. Music isn't really a big "thing" of mine. Basically it's the opposite of everything that's for me. But like,,, it would appeal to people and clearly does and sometimes people just want happy cute girls doing happy cute things. There are people who just adore the songs, the people who officially sing and perform them. People love the game for how varied it is and they love the fact that the card sets are drawn/designed by a different artist for the game.

I think when it comes to shows like Darwin's Game it kind of matters how you go into it. If you go in expecting ground-breaking, original masterpiece creative visions you'll be disappointed but if you go in expecting only trash it will elevate the show quite a bit. The show is pretty much an 80s "American" teen angst movie come to life. If you've ever seen a movie like Little Nikita, Red Dawn (the original not the remake) or Iron Eagle you'll get the meaning. It's pretty much built for us in that crowd. While I wouldn't give it a 10 I'd certainly give it an 8 to 8.5 based on what it is. For others who love the "teen hero" genre (as is obvious in this list) it would definitely score higher. He seems to like not just Shonen but teen heroes in general (cases where the underdog has the chance to rise). I'd say about 80-90% of the titles on this list seem to fit that mold.

I myself loved how it's characters seemed absolutely human, making human choices, doing human things, making human mistakes. Even the big bads had their own reasons for doing what they did and even though it's easy to disagree with their reasons, it's very easy to understand their thought processes on the matter.

Love Live is one of my all time favorite shows. Yea sure I enjoy alot of the songs and it looks pretty but the main reason why I like it so much is because of the characters. There's just something inspiring watching a group of girls not so much become idols but coming together and achieving something great while also having fun and being themselves. For someone like me who's gone through alot of stress trying to figure out my future, this show was exactly what I needed. It's just as much something I can enjoy on the surface as it is to escape from the hardships of life and be inspired by.

I think the majority of people enjoy Love Live for two reasons. The first being that it kind of encapsulates the same kind of waifu culture as harem anime. Meaning, you pick your best girl and buy merch of them and support them throughout the whole series. Secondly, people enjoy it because of how innocent and happy it is. The pure joy and happiness that the series gives off is like an escape from the viewers’ crappy life.

So the reason I like Love Live is not because of the animes, because the animes aren't masterpieces at all, what I like in it's pretty simples: the musics. I was intersted and I wanted to get into love live so I searched for love live musics, some I didn't like other I loved, and other just make me cry haha. That was my first step, after that I got intersted in the characters, some of their voices really grown on me and I wanted to know more about them so I watched the animes, and that made me grown attached to them, after that I've grown even more attached to their musics and I started watching the concerts and the effor they put into the concerts it's just amazing! The dancing the singing I've loved them all, it was great I started meeting people who're into love live and I started to know how big was the love live community there's just a lot of variety of musics There's this "new" idol project who made me love live even more called Nijigasaki, which is basicly a group of girls (obviously) that instead of playing together they sing solo and each girl has a different kind of music genre when they sing, so LoveLive really wants to attract people with a lot of differents tastes! About the games: I play School Idol Festival All Stars! And not gonna lie it's not a game I'd get addicted but I love the cards they add also the 3D animation when they sing and dance are so good so I play the game only because of that haha the gameplay is okay but it's not the most important thing tbh. I hope you all understand the magic of Love Live it's a really important franchise for me! And if you don't that's okay too! Just wanted to explain why I love lovelive

So to explain to you why I (and maybe others as well) really like Love Live: One of the main reasons is its heart. Love Live touches on themes such as finding your own identity and chasing your dreams which resonate with people. When I watched the first episode, I could really get behind the main character because of her optimism and determination. Because of this, I was able to get emotionally invested in the show, to point where I actually cried at the end. On top of that, it just has this fun, bright and light-hearted atmosphere, and it can sometimes be legitimately funny as well. The characters, while not necessarily deep, each have their own fun quirks while the series also explores what drives them, and I like every one of them. I understand it is not for everyone, and I agree that the quality of the writing occasionally takes a little dip. But because of its heart and sense of fun, I keep loving it. Also, there's just a large amount of stuff to enjoy, like the anime (of which a good nextgen/spin-off series is airing right now, poggers) but also the game and the music. I don't wanna be that guy, but I hope you see this comment. Heard you guys on TT say you see all your comments, but I can have a hard time finding my own sometimes.
