Power plants have more controlled fuel to air ratio and exhaust gas treatment that small furnaces don't have. But I wouldn't call small scale pellets burning a bad thing anyway, not in general.

What kind of B.S is this?? pellet stoves are under Strick laws, so they burn clean to be able to be marketed!! Get your facts straight these things burn clean 🙂

use USA's standard of wood gas stove, the second burn system will wipe out all of those NO² waste, CMIIW!

Some wood pellets use waste wood in their production, but the real reason is that they use wood and that comes from trees that can be replanted in a relatively short time (By relatively I mean 30 years to the 30 million years for crude oil).
