Even though it was an easy fix, glad you checked oil pressure first. Kyle from boostedboiz kept doing dyno pulls trying to figure out why vtech wasn't coming on and it was cause a bad oil pump. He got lucky with minor engine damage to crank bearings but coulda been worse.

Also I replaced my sway bar end links 6 months ago on my corolla and clunking sound came back. I thought it was my actual way bar bushings that were bad... Nope. The brand new end link failed.. And I didn't find out until i removed it cause the rubber boots were still perfect.

He mentioned camshaft sensor. Pretty easy to change. Crankshaft sensor on the other hand is a little bit harder due to wire/plug routing but can be done. I just changed both my cam and crank sensors after 395k miles.

@@JO3haNsum the crankshaft sensor was coated with burnt oil and had lots of fine metal shavings on the tip and around it since it is magnetic. I was getting rough idle and some knocking sound.

Mine hits lift then feels like it’s being strangled and sounds as if it’s missing no codes new plugs checked screens they were clean only done 60 k.

Hopefully you have a baffled oil pan gts dont have good stock oil pans turns can be a issue with those pans forsure

it means it isnt getting everything necessary for lift, water temp, rpms, oil pressure or lift bolts I believe

Crank sensor but there are various reasons lift stops working...could be lift bolts also do you have a code?
