What a slack paint job by the previous painters. What a great job by you, sir!

One of the joys of buying an older home. Ours looked like they stood back 20 feet and threw brushes at the trim. .

I've have the same exact problem on my house. I've asked myself a hundred time,"How could someone be so sloppy and negligent?". I best best is some old lady paid a 10 year old to paint for her. That's the only thing that makes any sense at all.

I'm in the process of trying to figure out the best way to remove some heavier patches of paint from my brick, which is how I stumbled on your video. I'm commenting because everything else I've seen so far says to never use caustic strippers or high pressure on brick. It will definitely clear the paint, but it can also weaken the brick by destroying the hardest skim layer on the surface that protects it from the elements, potentially breaking down much faster than it otherwise would. Hope that's not the case and no damage is done, though.
@KleshGuitarsOfficial Жыл бұрын
That may be true, however I haven't noticed any problems yet after doing this, and it's rained more in Colorado this year than every before in recorded history so I dont think I damaged anything thankfully :)

Did a great job of clearing that splatter off of the brick. Some of that brush marks down the sides looked like revenge, who cleans their brush off on brick. See you on the next one.

We have this same kind of brick, just not as much paint on it. Are you creating another issue with that much water getting behind the siding and bricks?
@KleshGuitarsOfficial Жыл бұрын
No issues so far. I think a bead of silicone caulking (outdoor) would work in these gaps is it's a concern
@richiebledsoe1006 Жыл бұрын
If you would have had a twirling tip it would have taken it all off nicely! We recently moved into a place the previous person painted brick pillars! I used the spinning tip and it got some off without any chemicals. Def gonna need some chemicals to help!

I hope you didn't spray hard on the brick with that vinyl siding next to it. You probably forced water back behind that vinyl siding. Don't ever use pressure washers against siding like that. Very stupid.

This video is a complete waste of time, no-one cares about where you rented your pressure washer, how much gas was in it, how the last home owner got paint everywhere- that part should be obvious. Jesus just get to the point this was so tedious and amounted to nothing.

you don’t know why they put paint all over the wall and I don’t know why you bought a used 350$ pressure washer lol you could have gotten one brand new for that price but hey that’s you not me
