Problem With The Rossi R92

Just picked up a R92 .357/.38 last week. While doing a quick going over before shooting, I found several screws loose on the receiver. Check them over before taking them out to the range.

Yes I am. I had thought I dropped it or lost it. I was on hands and knees looking everywhere for it. Then thought to look outside and there it was.

Yes Sir. I was running low on them and casted up a few hundred a couple months ago. That's what I powdercoated last monday.

What a blessing, Josh! I might have never found that little screw. I'll have to check how tight my screws are, and maybe treat with blue Loctite. Check Palo Verde Spring Kit for Rossi 92s. I bought one.

mine was hard to feed ammo without getting bit but a bit of polishing and it's now freaking amazing.

I had to work on the 45 colt a little but this 357 wasn't too bad.

I though I had lost it in the basement and I had only worked on it on the table. Then realized I never took that one out. Went outside and there it was. Lucky me.

Your sights seem to be lined up fine. The best sight alignment I could get was 4 inches high and 3 inches to the left. So for now I have a red dot on mine. I wanted to keep the old school look but I also want to hit what im aiming at. Other than that, love it.

Yo - reach out to the company. Had the same thing happen with a revolver yoke screw and they promptly sent a new one - no charge of course.

These rifles all said n done go for around 800 thru buds ! Rossi customer service ain't good from all I read. Why not go to Henry or Ruger/Marlin who happen to have great customer service, especially Henry ! I feel u are rollin the dice big time with a Rossi !!

Those Rossi Rifles must be total garbage . I’ve never heard of so many problems from so many people…

Yes, and a rifle that now goes close to 800 after all said n done ! Makes no sense not to Buy used rifles or go to henry or ruger/marlin !

just avoid rossi. buy a henry or a marlin if you want a lever gun.
