As a fellow car dealer, I can say my state makes salvage inspections much simpler. All you need is a regular state inspection sticker and "before" photos of the vehicle. Then, you take everything to the DMV for the salvage inspection. They simply verify receipts for any purchased parts shown in the photos, confirm that the repairs were made, and check that the airbag light is functional. There’s no pre-inspection involved-it’s quick and done in just 15 minutes.

Mine doesn’t have an inspection but they make us send in the paperwork and it takes 3 weeks until a decision is made.

I love TN there is no state inspections at all in my county. for a rebuild you just take before and after pics and send to nashville and you can possibly be chosen for rebuild inspection but usually doesnt happen.
