Ohh I was planning to buy this car as my first car but people are generally disappointed with Tata that makes me skeptical of their cars.

This is surprising. I also have TIAGO xza May ' 2017 make and i have never got less than 19 average,tank to tank basis, on highways. I get around 16-17 even on the hills. Have had no problems with the car till now. May be the driving style needs to be improved. I have never got it serviced other than authorised service centre and service never takes more than 4-6 hours.

I don't know, a lot could depend on where you stay for example a car driven in Mumbai or Bangalore could get your very low mileage even lower than what we could possibly get in Delhi. Yes there could be a driving style issue too., but honestly I have heard more stories about this car skewed towards her opinion at least in terms of mileage.

@@ecardlr Dear, i agree that city driving conditions are different and you may get different averages but we are talking of highway's mileage. I have been driving for 35 years and having driven accross the country many times, i have not found that car will perform differently on Maharashtra highways and say Harayana highways.

On highway i did get an initial mileage of 15 or max 16 when the car was new . The mileage is also displayed on a particular mode .. i am not talking about that .. this is my personal experience again tank to tank basis , now my highway driving hAs drastically reduced , its more of city driving since last 2-3 years . Have not really driven this car outside mumbai .. In the initial 2 years of the car i would get best mileage of 15-16 max on highways in mumbai .

I am feed up of Tata Tiago there are lot of problems with AC and battery within 2 years of purchase. Service charges are very high. I recommend don’t buy Tata cars as they market themselves safety but from day 1 you will start replacing many parts .

I also own a Tata Tiago XZA AMT since 2019. I remember that I had watched the previous video of this lady as I was searching for AMT reviews on KZbin at that time. And since 2019 I have been a subscriber of this channel. And I really appreciate your efforts Sir for bringing genuine reviews for us. I think I can also share my ownership experience of my Tiago. Background: Tiago is my 2nd car the first one was Wagon-R CNG. And yes that was a beautiful car I really loved that machine. When I bought it everyone was skeptical about the CNG part. Those were the initial days of CNG vehicles. CNG used to cost 30-40Rs per KG at that time. I only had one break down with my waggy that is driver side window motor stopped working. This is the only major/minor issue I faced with my Wagon R in 5 yrs of ownership. Coming back to Tiago following are some pros and cons I felt about my Tiago. Pros 1. It feels solid/safe as compared to Wagon-R. 2. I am in love with Tiago steering very light in the city and as speed increases it gets hard. 3. Seat cushion and suspension. I can bet you that you won't get this much comfort in any hatchback in an Indian market. 4. Driving dynamics are far better compared to Maruti's vehicles. But still not gr8 as Polo or Ford vehicles. 5. The music system is best in the segment. 6. Build quality is one of the best in the segment. Cons 1. Panel gaps everywhere 🙄 2. Small quality control issues such as window rattling, one day one lose nut fell of from my steering column while I was driving 🤣. AMT gear lever leather is getting peeled after 3 yrs of ownership. 3. Worst service. Customers who own a harrier/safari get priority. Typical government office attitude in service centre. Service advisors are more interested in begging for 10/10 ratings rather than listening to customer's problem. 4. The mechanics at the service centre is not well trained. 5. Issues with car are like battery dead within 1.5 yrs. I had to change my batteries. AC ventilator knob came off. Front wiper spray stopped working. 6. There is water coming at the passenger side I don't know how. I think I will change my vehicle in the upcoming year and will shift again to Maruti Suzuki. Maybe I will consider Breeza AT.

Mileage could be because of worn out clutch usually in AMT cars with city running. Get the spark plugs changed and get a new air filter definitely helps. Get the dashboard removed and get the cooling coil cleaned mandotary for five year old cars. What's the ODO reading now?

Vibration is there still in Toyota Corolla in nutral gear, after starting the car. When the gear is moved to Drive mode, very smooth.

I don't seem to have that problem with my car and haven't heard of such a problem with any other car owner

You may face any issue with this car except mileage, though I am not sure of AMT.

this is epic. After 5 years you are getting 15 highway milega from Tiago 😂😂😂 you need to change your driving style left right and center. 🙏

What you say is epic should be applicable for me and my Ecosport, which has never given me more than 15 Kmpl even in good early days, that's a diesel.
