At time 20:53, the correct value for the reflection coefficient is Gamma[L] = 0.13 - j0.47 = 0.49 < -74.21° . Please check.

At time 19:54 , the correct value for the load impedance is: ZL = 38.77 - j48.72 . Please check.

Hi Prof. Shevgaokar, I have a question at 4:53, where |V|max=|v_plus|{1+|gamma_L|}, where gamma_L=0.64exp(-65.3). But at 21:37 of lecture 5, we derived that v(l)=v_plus*exp(jbl){1+|gamma_L|*exp(j)}. My question is: for v(l) to be max, how is it possible to have the 2 exponential terms to be max at the same time, i.e., how can we have exp(jbl)=1 and exp(j)=1 simultaneously? Because my computation shows we could ONLY have one of the 2 terms to be equal to 1, unless gamma_L is real-valued [remember phi of gamma is -65.3, which means it is NOT real-valued]. Maybe I am wrong but please enlighten me. Thank you so much.

Maybe I am a bit late, but the exp(jbl) term also contains a component of time that changes the phase and makes it possible to have both terms maximum simultaneously.

true @19.56 ,Zl=38.7-48.7i @20.55 , ref. coefficient=.133-.475i or.49(magnitude) with phase=-74.3 and@21.55 VSWR=3(approx)

@6:45 ----- I couldn't understand how |I|max = |V|max / Zo .... Because I thought voltage and current maxima on a Tx Line are staggered i.e. they don't occur at the same place.

you are right .they don't occur at the same place but, their values can be calculated like this.
