Long term issue, been since FS19, there is a setting for frequency of game save, I normally set mine to every 10 minutes. I never see the game save while I'm playing, but every time I open the menu, boom it saves. Why do we have a setting? Anyone else get this?

Suffered with a load of crashes yesterday, and had to constantly manually save to stop me having to redo so much. The "autosave" is not really an autosave, if I have to physically open the menu to save, it's not autosave!! So completely agree, very annoying feature. 😂😂

Agreed. Owned Vehicles and Leased Vehicles menus make things far easier to navigate.

I just did 3 screen grabs into photoshop while HRD is on and simply added ONLY contrast and it made an unbelievable improvement. HDR held the detail in the shadows so the increased contrast didn't lose detail in shadows , but what an improvement. Yuck eliminated.

Issues I’ve encountered: When buying sugarcane pallets, if you buy more than one, each additional pallet costs $2000. Some stone picking contracts won’t allow you to pick the stones. Deadwood contracts at the edge of hutan pantai can have the trees out of reach. Elmer’s largest weeder size is missing part of the frame. Scrolling the settings you have to go up to access the lower half. (Sorry if these were mentioned already. I couldn’t make it to the live or stick around the whole video) hope these help

Love your content but have to disagree about the game being ok with faults. If i buy a new car i expect it to work. They shouldnt release a game with so many broken things. Keep doing what you do great content as always

This is absolutely spot on. These content creators all sold out for free stuff. Never going to bite the hand that feeds them. Also it was nice for Giants to send him that PS5 Pro to try and help his FS25 content look less rubbish.

@@stephengarvin3308 Giants didn't send him his new PS5 Pro. He mentioned in the stream that it was one of his subscribers, but couldn't name who because they wished to remain anonymous. Which is understandable in this day and age, and especially when you just gifted someone a $700 (US) piece of equipment. If Giants had given him the new console, I'm sure there would be some marketing stipulation that he would have to say as much. As for the biting the hand that feeds idea, as someone who has been watching his videos since FS17, he's never shied away from pointing out issues with the game or with mods he reviews. So i'm slightly confused by this comment as it pertains to MrSealyp and this video.

I absolutely agree that if I buy a $40,000 vehicle, I expect it to work when I drive it off the lot. I do not have the same expectation for a $60 modern video game, however.

@@diruida I absolutely agree if we're talking about most consumer products, regardless of what it might be. My point was really more about the modern video game landscape. There are very few games that release nowadays that don't require some form of fixing post-release. Sometimes the fixes are just for things like balance tweaking and other minor issues, others require a lot more work for game-breaking problems. This is certainly not ideal, but is an unfortunate fact of life for modern gaming, brought about by factors too numerous to list here. As a gamer today, this is something I've come to expect, and why I hesitate to compare the quality of a game on release to something like a car or toaster. Again, not ideal, but it is the reality of the gaming industry today. And at least if a game is broken when you get it, it will most likely get fixed with no effort on your part, unlike if you purchased a broken toaster.

Known issues on PC: 1. Objects, tractors, and attachments sticking to the ground making it almost impossible to get it back 2. Chainsaw won’t limb trees 3. Stump grinder refuses to cut any large stumps 4. Triggers on placables sometimes won’t work 5. Last night I bought a tractor that was on sale from 60k to 25k and after it took my money I did not recieve the tractor.. also tractors and attachments sometimes won’t show the preview in the store. I know there’s other things too but that’s the main ones for me

And cutting any large stumps with the small loader stump grinder is nearly impossible to find the spot where it will actually cut. Are you on PC or console? Also what map? Cuz I’m playing on PC and have only been on river springs so far so that’s what I’m referring to

I got problems with some trees not all, the pallet fork is getting stuck in the ground, the ground flicking and there’s a weird ground deformation on asphalt whenever you clearing snow with salt, it’s like you remove the snow but you still get the tires deformation of snow.

Iv had issues with the stump grinder also and the Volvo wheeled loader get stuck and jumping around in the bunker silo. My first issue was the new Holland header got stuck to the ground at the store

The one thing that I would really like to see from Giants is a "known issues" post somewhere. Not knowing that it's just an issue that they are addressing leads to so much of us players scratching our heads thinking that *we* are doing something wrong. I spent a good long time trying to figure out some issues and then realized that everyone else was experiencing the same thing after a Google search -- like the stone heap next to the concrete factory being inaccessible after you buy the factory =(

The problems I have is the following 1) the sky flips out when you fast forward on riverbed springs. As soon as you stop fast forwarding, the icons flip out and flickers, the sky has all these squares around it the sky is still moving even tho you’ve stopped sleeping. 2) wrapping bales contracts, it comes up with 4 bales needing wrapped, you’re 98% done, no more bales needing wrapped. Has to fail the mission a few times 3) the timers on contracts, you have 12hrs for smaller contracts, and 50hrs for wood contracts. I’ve never touched the wooden contracts because I hate forestry and it’s a farming game not a cut down trees simulator. 4) the traffic oh lord just turn it off. Completely. Your sitting on side of road waiting for a load to fill up and these cars park behind you, there’s cars stopped coming upwards, you’re trapped can’t reverse can’t go forward. A nightmare. 5) A.I workers, weeding a field, they don’t recognise the field. So it comes up field not detected. you have to do these manually. Same with baling contracts, and mowing contracts. 7) ground deformation is a little trippy, I feel like when your driving over the field it’s like going over tarp on water, it sinks into the ground and creates a 3D mesh effect, same when you’re ploughing a field. it’s horrible. Fix the textures for that. 8) model and running animations need improved, stick a green suit on a person, with the balls on it. And get them to run, and walk and jump. Because these animations are terrible. the jumping animation is slow and we ain’t on the moon!! why he’s floating on the air??? What is that. Fix that. 9) why advertise a hand on a steering wheel get everyone’s hopes up that we finally get a model in a tractor not an invisible person. Then the final game there’s nothing there…. Why do that? don’t promote something and then fail to deliver. actually give us that option. We’ve had invisible driving since FS2008. Don’t you think it’s now time to bring in a 3D figure hand on wheel foot on pedal motions in Cab ??? I do.

I’m really starting to get into the new game more and more as I play it. Although one annoying thing is being able to stack buildings on/near each other. Keeps saying restricted area. I like to stick a small roof over my outdoor pastures but can’t in this game. I hope they fix this in the coming months

I have not had many problems with FS25 on PS5 but The PC version I have had lots, Graphics problems flickering, screen blacking out, vehicle sounds cutting out, ploughs and cultivators acting as if there hitting boulders under the ground, Macdon swathing digging into the ground and raising the vehicle up. An instance of a plough damaging the entire map and the graphics degrading to something that looks like a 640x480 DOS game form the 90’s and the save game to be destroyed I have logged these with Giants but had no update.

When using a front loader and a bucket to get stone from my Debris Crusher, my Tractor will flip around, I have keep selling the bucket and the front loader, its getting a bit tedious now, not to mention the graphical glitches, the lighting, the traffic, and thatss just a few things on Console that is wrong, and here I was thinking Giants and the Partners of Giants had tested the game. Note to self, wait 3 months after release to see if improvements have been made. FS 22 had problems, but these are worse at release.

The mindset that early access is a method of unpaid quality assurance is a bit odd. It's even more peculiar when Giants goes down the traditional early access for media (content creators), where the entire expectation is for those players to have access to the game earlier to create content before release. Honestly, I'm always a bit irked when other gaming companies put out an 'early access' version of a game as a way to have players find a report bugs. There are jobs where people do that for a living. Personally, I think there are some expectations for bugs in games upon release. Games have gotten so complicated, especially when it's multi-platform. I just wish that Giants would step up their communications game. Maybe a quick announcement on the start screen of FS25 with a link to a webpage that contains a list of the known issues and reassurance that the developers are working on fixes for those issues, and potentially a built-in method for reporting bugs that would give their team a more detailed report.

After having 150hours in a savegame without mods, during a green bean contract that awards about a 9000 for completion, suddenly the vehicles disappear, only thing you can do is abandon the contract and get a 31k+ penalty, also tractors spawning at start of contract without front wheels.

You CAN turn the cloud shadows off. See options, video settings, before going into map. Hope that helps.

try to remove branches with the chainsaw it really is another stress level sometimes it does the job most of the time you keep running along the tree up the tree and it does not do anything and yes the game looks to bright and washed out and another thing is the circel around your vehicle that moves with it keep up the great reviews love them

Thanks for streaming, watched on VOD. In my experience it's always this transition period when a new FS comes out, I've played insane hours since FS13 and there's always been this OMG WTF have they done or not done when a new version comes out. So I try to chill and not get upset when I realize I didn't get a feature that I wanted... it will usually show up at some point, be it a mod or an added vanilla feature. I was a bit nervous when I installed 25 as I'm on a fairly old PC and I was unsure how it would run, but so far I've had no issues which surprised me... sure I don't get all the bells and whistles with a 1070 gfx card but the game works great. (Edit: btw I find it funny that the things that annoy me most with this new version (so far) is such small things: no autosave outside of menus has been a thing that's bugged me for ages and now I can't activate cruise control without releasing the throttle and it deactives if I put the pedal to the metal, it's so annoying.) I'm on PS5, I havent had any crashes yet. 🤞 My biggest issues so far are the textures popping in and out even only feet away. My biggest complaint is with HDR. If turned on, the colors are so bland and washed out. If I turn HDR off the image has more pop in color but almost looks fake. There's a bunch of small things that need fixing but Im still loving the game.

I play on PC and HDR makes game look washed out, HDR calibration settings I couldn't work out either sliders didn't seem to do anything. Game looks very plastic. Might give no HDR a try

PC: Graphical glitches, black screens etc after hours of in game is still present regardless of graphic settings low to ultra. Ice skate like movement is awful. AI field work is far less efficient as it was in FS22 although GPS seems good.

I am just going to wait about 3 months for some updates and fixes. Prior to buying this game. I rarely if ever pre order a game since these games are so monumentally complex that it is unrealistic to expect them to function across all platforms and hardware configs. We are launching a software system of our own and it has taken three years to replace our existing system. We are using it, however even after years of testing and refinement, we still find issues. I think people might have unreal expectations about video games in general. If you wait for all the bugs to get worked out for FS25 it would not be released.....ever. You need tens of thousands of player experiences to feedback into your software dev team so that they know what to fix and in what priority.

Planted trees disappear between leaving the game and loading back in. Pallet storage input and output overlap, making it impossible to remove anything. They forgot to implement contrils for interacting with the dog. Forgot to implement a throw control for picked up objects. Tractor mounted forestry mulcher pevents tractor from moving when mulcher is running.

On Zelonka the gps steering doesn’t work on certain fields. When that doesn’t work you can’t hire a worker either. Playing on PS5. Also when using the large plow the worker wont work. The other thing that happens went to the next to largest plow and the worker folds the plow then try’s to plow with it.

I feel like some people have forgotten that FS22 wasn't in the greatest of shape when it launched, either. I pre-ordered the game and got it on day one, and had numerous issues on my PS4 Pro with game crashes, graphical glitches, and other bugs. After 20 or so hours of playing it this way, I put the game down for a few months and went back to playing FS19. I waited for some patches and updates to come out, then picked it back up again. I've since logged over 1200 hours of playtime with the game, and have enjoyed every minute. I've gotten my money's worth out of the game regardless of the issues I experienced at the start, and have never felt like I was cheated or swindled. This is just an unfortunate fact of life for modern day gaming. Most modern games are released with some form of issues, even if they are minor. Some developers can fix these issues with a day one patch, others take longer to sort out the cause of the problems. I understand that's not an ideal situation, but with the advent of internet-connected gaming, the ability to update games in real-time with patches, and the complexity of the games being created nowadays, I don't think this is something that's going to go away. And this from the perspective of someone who has been playing console games for over 30 years, and has experienced the evolution from cartridges to where we are now.

My biggest issue on PC is the textures flickering on different parts of the screen. Happens on the fields, to the trees, the sky, etc. Also the game isn't utilizing my GPU correctly, it jumps about and CPU usage is low so I feel there's just something broken about the current version of the game.

Yeah it’s pretty wild. I have a 3080 and it does it all the time. Jumped on the forums day 1 and found that even people with 4090’s were experiencing the same thing!

@@DelBoy573 I have a 4090 so yeah can say that's confirmed. It's weird, the frame rate drops with the usage which you'd think was a CPU bottle neck but the CPU never goes over 15% and none of the individual cores are going high.

Cross play bugs are crazy. I’m on pc and my friend is on Xbox. One glitch happens and it’s hours of building a farm gone because we now get stuck at 99% load screen on multiplayer. Hoping the first patch fixes it

My big problem with version 1.4 is that when I want to buy a vehicle from the store, for example when I buy a tractor and then go to buy another vehicle, the buttons catastrophically don't work and I have to save, close, and reopen the game.

This is my first farming simulator launch and I'm very disappointed in the number of bugs. I love the realism feel in FS25 and think it has potential, but it isn't fun to play when you keep running into bugs. I think I'm going to wait to play again till giants fixes a few things.

To give a lil help to people doin root crop contracts (at least on hutan) use the white truck that u get to do the corners of a field and then the tractor and trailer on the straight parts.....it's still a pain but it helps

The biggest problem with the current vehicle menu is, it doesnt display current configuration of said vehicle, such as, horse power, for instance. I dont like how the store is setup either, in the fact that theres no owned/leased vehicle menu. Fs19 and fs22 had these menus, as i still play both...

I generally seem to have been fairly lucky on PS5 so far. I have had a few crashes, most of which happened while I had tedder working on my farm while also harvesting corn on a separate field. Did run into in the old issue of not being able to complete a cotton contract with the JD harvester because you can't unload the bales early.

Only 3 issues Ive got is invisable colision under fields, weird texture glitch on mail trucks both ups and usps, and trying to build fences always seams to be a restricted area even in the field itself. PC Can you not turn off cloud shadows? Maybe your Game monitor brightness is to high? Crazy Story 25 runs better now then vanilla FS22 on my system, no idea why.

if you're screen looks washed out when you turn on HDR that means it's not working correctly. You either need a better cable or the port on your monitor is not accepting it correctly. I have had that issue on an older monitor. Watching the video after you turned it on, its not working at all.

Cruise control stays at kmh speeds when u change it to mph so set the cruise speed at say 6mph when actually its actually 12 kmh or something along that line 👀

I’ve had issues with taking multiple contracts and it’s completing one and not another says only 20% done but I’ve harvested it all and sold it all I have those weird orange orbs also but rare can’t seem to modify equipment but I think I’m just missing how you actually do that I’m on ps5

In my opinion, your setting for HDR does just the opposite of what it is suppose to do. quote: "Contrast: HDR displays can show a much larger contrast ratio, meaning the difference between the darkest and brightest parts of an image is much greater, allowing for more detail in both highlights and shadows. Color range: HDR displays can reproduce a wider spectrum of colors, leading to richer and more vibrant visuals So either Sony or Giants doesn't know what HDR is. Or it's a bug? sorry I don't have a ps5 only ps4 so I haven't bought the game yet, so I am not much help for testing settings. Just read another comment, if your monitor has a contrast setting I think you can dial in the HDR, the detail is there, it just needs some contrast (I have a done years of nature photography and adjusting for bad lighting in post possessing.

I have not purchased fs 25 yet, thought I would wait to see how good it actually is, from what I've seen so far it looks pretty good, but not without its faults, I imagine no game when first released is perfect, but some of the issues with this game should have been sorted before release they are so obvious. I'm on series s and I had a spraying contract not work it stayed at 0% the whole time and then when I put a government subsidy sign (the mod) to get paid for the contract and the fertilizer I used an3 the money never came n! I don't know

Im on Xbox and havent had any issues except for 1 weird one.Worst bug i got is my contracts got bugged. Wouldnt let me return the machines at all until restarting on new save. I love the game and will keep playing it. Im still glad i bought it

On Hutan Pantai I ran across a deadwood contract on one of the plots is impossible to complete because one of the trees is outside the map boundary

I din’t get bugs on Serie X yet but, on the asian map it seemed to me like the game was slow, i wouldnt say flickering but more like….trying to play with topped slot counts on a forestry map. Anyway, switching to serie X fom One on 22 was more enjoyable than getting 25🤷🏻‍♂️

Yep!, same jd tractor on my ps5 in store has the rear track messed up so I did not buy it just in case there would be issues

My problems are on Ps5. #1 Camera movement makes image blurry/ ghosting. #2 Walking in 1st or 3d person feels laggy. #3 Ai no longer bales hay like it was able to do in 22 #4 Texture pop in is terrible even while driving on a field just 10 feet away the crop is changing textures as you drive towards it. #5 No 60 fps mode like there was on 22. #6 Ai doesn't always go where you tell it to, and has been hit by the train on route, and doesn't like to go through the farm gate it just goes in circles when it gets there.

I have found the game crashes or freezes randomly it can happen by simply saving the game or customising a tractor. You can tell when it is going to crash because the machine I'm driving sounds like it's got engine problems.

For me:- -NPC's should have the ability to be turned off -Rolling should be able to be disabled -In game bale shed needs spawning zone to be re-done as they spawn and go back in the shed -In game seeder, solid stand 1500 doesn't give me the option for fertiliser on pc Graphics, I only have the screen flickering. No crashes or any other visuals. Game has been running smoothly for me at 4K and I have enjoyed playing the 33 hours so far

The game has been pretty good except for some game crashes and the mods that appear sometimes are not there the next time I play the game. I always save after I finish playing as well so nothing gets lost yet still I have had issues with stuff I bought and the when I go pick it up it has disappeared!, this happened with the new mower that came with the game. I had to buy it twice because it just disappeared when I went back into the game so I had to buy it again which was frustrating because I lost all that money buying it agin. Now it seems fine but I still haft to remember to load all the down loads before starting the game

I mostly have had the red orbs on the bottom of the screen a few times other then that not it's been running fine. I have had my fan kick up it's speed a few times but that might be I need to clean it out.

And one more thing . I lost money on my crops a few times because I didn’t know it had too go back into an area to accept getting paid after dropping my load at another place. It used to just pay me automatically after dropping and selling my crops so I lost all that work money and time which kind of sucked

New player on ps5 .. contracts just aren’t working says I have three active on one screen and no active contracts on the active screen so I can’t do contracts. Fertilised fields not showing as fertilised. A bit frustrating so far!

No issues on my gaming pc but that said there are several features that I dislike. First is the ground definition feature. It is a nice idea, but way way over done making it almost seem like mud. Second ai workers are broken in that they drive all over crops during harvest and back over seeded areas during seeding. Last I HATE THE NEW SHOP LAYOUT!!

@@MrSealypI loved your content (and still do) since FS17, I also believe you get a lot of crap undeservedly. I actually think what people are struggling to articulate is a question of optics and perception, rather than any actual wrong doing on your part. KZbinrs like DJ have been shameless in pushing the product. I think you have actually been honest in your opinions, and think the game is ok, with some clear improvements, but still the community deserved more. Giants created the split in the community with this game, cause now PC gamers say that consoles “held” the game back. Truth is Giants had nothing more to offer, and in some cases like “area is restricted” issues it is a step back versus the last version.

I play on PC and have recently come across something that could be a bug on Riverbend Springs map so here goes. 1. Place a cow shed 2. Customise the fence. 3. Add the pasture grass. All works well so far but when it comes to demolishing I can demolish the shed and the extended fence but for some reason I can't demolish the pasture and the game won't let me sell the land because I have peaceable pasture on it' Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Surprised the PlayStation version seems very buggy, orbs, crashes etc. I’ve had none of these on Xbox series x, no crashes no orbs. Only thing I’ve seen on Xbox is when picking up header from dealer sometimes the wheels are stuck in the ground, but that’s the only issue after hours and hours

I got the game pre-ordered on pc, the only problem i got with the game when i want to use FSR3 for AMD cards, my screen get zoomed in in the left corner. For the rest of the game runs smooth

Playing on PS5 -Game crashing occasionally -Game crashing all the time when doing hay, tedding/raking, must save game every pass on the field to be safe.. -Bale storage apparently not working, so retrieving feed for animals is impossible. This two things alone makes the game not worth playing, update will probably require a new save. So why play? -Multible tractors missing tires /tracks -Multiple implements have missplaced discs, like the väderstad disc and the bednar seeder -The gray convey all trailer does not take lime, there are no way to transport lime without using a trailer and tipping it on the ground and using a bucket to put it the spreader. The convey all did take lime in Fs22... -The kinze disc harrow is missing half it's disc. -The Elmer super 7 harrow are missing a lot of stuff. The game looks great and works good otherwise imo. -

On xbox I lose texture quality on vehicles and trees when logging anything except the standard pine trees

Yeah, the game has crashed a few times now, not sure why but I’ve had to go back to the last point of the game and redo something I did before so lucky I didn’t lose to much in game. And it’s been slow loading any of the downloads that appear in game before I enter the game
