So they're not going to add any contingency and there's software bugs??! Because things like this should have been caught on the software level. Looks like either a odot doesn't care because they are the state government and government doesn't care about anything or b) they don't know and don't know where to go.

They did that on purpose. Just like everything else.

Even here in NJ with a more updated ez pass transponder, it sometimes doesn't read. And yes with nothing interfering, it does this. Also, the driver behind you sometimes rolls up behind you too fast and the thing double reads. So now you have no idea if you got charged again or not until you are able to check.

We got charged for a semi truck

Semi trucks have different EZ-Passes than cars because they haul up to 80,000 pounds and 110,000 pounds (for triples). They are longer and white in color for company trucks because they also provide service for scale houses along the highway. So, I think you were tailgating a truck through the EZP lane and it caught your pass. This happens a lot in Ohio with some cars trying to, what we called "hitching a ride". I am not calling you a liar, but I drove truck for 30 years and I've seen so many times cars right on my tail coming through the EZP lane.

I don't see why these changes are hard to understand. Pay attention to the signs! Its really not hard. Some people should not be driving.
