What‘s the difference between lightnig and fire mode?

Lightning is faster, allowing for less dodgable combos, eg: dlight, nsig is true. Although it does less damage. the flame mode does more damage and covers a larger area but is waaay harder to combo into and has a longer start-up allowing you to be punished if you play it wrong
