How often do y’all draw in perspective???

I hope print comics continue far into the future. You guys seem to know a ton of the ins and outs of comics. Not just from the artist perspective but I’ve learned a ton about the business of comics from you guys. In short I wish you guys had your own comic company.

The PPP was, sadly, a hoax. Octobriana was originally created as "Amazona" by Bohumil Konecny and Zdenek Burian and Petr Sadecky just stole their artwork and fled to the west. Bohumil and Zdenek ended up suing Petr in a West German court, but they never got the artwork back. Bryan Talbot mentions it a bit in Arkwright Integral because Octobriana shows up in Luther Arkwright.

Vladimir Nabokov also wrote some of his novels using index card. He was well organized.

I had a portfolio review with Mazzucchelli and he said “I see some drawing issues but that will work itself out” he tossed his wrist as to say pish posh to draftsmanship. Easy for him to say he can effortlessly draw, as you say, a hand. For the rest of us it’s a lifelong struggle.

do you draw over the rough sketch page for the finalized page?
@ghostknight18654 жыл бұрын
How common is it to redo a page even after you've finished it just because something is bothering you about it? I guess "perfectionism" or something like that.
