Korean craftmanship is awesome, I was in South Korea for three different time periods for a year each time, and I was always amazed at the skill level of these craftsmen. The Korean people and culture was amazing, I met some awesome people while I was there.

@@MadebySTVRyeah, I think so. Near my house there has been a handmade shoe shop for 31 years, then the shop closed last year. The owner's son doesn't have the same skills as his father who had passed away, what a pity. But my mom said it's getting less and less visitors before closing and the prices were also much more expensive

Это не кроссОфки, это были кеды, а стали сникерсы. Кеды - лоу сегмент. Из ординарных конверсов он сделал эксклюзивный и востребованный совсем по другой цене продукт, не теряя брэнд. Это как купить не просто БМВ, а Альпину или не Мерседес, а Брабус. Основа машины будет та же, а цена, качество, и внимание в разы выше.

He's stitching the sole not the welt. Which is way the stitch is a lock-stitch, which is why it looks cooler than a goodyear welting machine.

Best part about these kind of upgrades are that now that it was a goodyear welt the sole can be easily replaced the next time making the shoe last much much longer
