In my opinion, this is Danganronpa + Clue, the board game. I say this because the characters arent too special. They are named/look like every anime trope.

This is actually gonna be my first visual novel (unless you count Blaz Blue, which I spent exponentially more time outside of the story, so I don't count it). I tend to expect quality out of NIS, so I was willing to give it a shot. I'm glad to see it scores well enough under the eye of someone with more experience with the genre.

If you enjoy this then I highly recommend you try out Danganronpa!! It seems to be the main source of inspiration for Process of Elimination, and it's so good. I've found that Danganronpa 1 is on sale sometimes for $2.99 which is amazing

Call me shallow - and many will gladly, but I'm so done with visual novels with no English dub. I can't read nearly fast enough to make games like this worth-while without at least the majority being spoken in English. Considering this company's localizations are usually pretty decent, that's a real shame, because I generally really like the genre, and was spoiled with the Zero Escape trilogy and especially the Somnium files. Also if you understood the whole story of 13 Sentinels after only one playthrough you deserve some sort of award. Great game! Confusing as all get out.

@@angelusvictor6715 I really enjoyed it too. I have no reason why I haven't played it a second time. I really should. I do wish it'd had Vanillaware's side-scrolling action combat. Oden Sphere style mech combat would have been fantastic! But I'll totally take what they gave me. Looking forward to whatever they release next. Also, Angeles is one of my favorite names, and is actually the name of the protagonist of a series of science-fantasy novels I'm writing.

I've completed the demo. the story is nice, but... BIG MINUS: -boring board game core gameplay that has little to do with investigation / being a detective -the emasculated MC with his constant beta noises.

I enjoyed the gameplay and it's definitely more detective-like than Danganronpa ever was. Didn't have any issues with the MC after the first chapter.

What the fuck kind of complaint is that? Why does he have to be manly??? Even bringing up your cat just because it's female????? Unless you meant something else then that's just even weirder. That's weird of you to expect just because he's a dude... Also not every main character has to fit the same mould.
