Using a refillable marker helps to alleviate issues with characters become faint over time. AusPen has, in my opinion, the best system as far as how the marker performs over the long term, and the Pilot V Board Master is a close 2nd. The only reason that the Pilot takes 2nd place is that the nibs aren't replaceable like they are in the AusPen.

Хороший пример, как небольшое дело можно организовать мотивируя коллектив. Замена доски показалась немного странной, но видимо этому есть причина - например, стены здания. Доска выглядит современно, и в тоже время ящички для мела придают немного архаики. 👍во славу труда

Same here in NZ, they got rid of all the blackboards for some reason and replaced them with those stupid whiteboards, which most people hate. Hard to see how chalk dust is more hazardous than the sniffing of the volatiles in the markers by shitty kids everywhere lol. But we love a good blackboard and have made our own for personal use 👍

The old technology of such boards and write on them with chalk. Nowadays modern boards are made of plastic and are written on them with markers. Although, as I noticed, with prolonged use such a board begins to show the marker and it becomes not so presentable, which cannot be said about the classic chalkboard. I always wondered what is that green chalkboard that is not on the board at 2:44 in the video it is glued to the wooden case

Plastic boards with markers nowadays? 🤣 You mean interactive boards. Or are you from Kenya or Pakistan? 🤣🤣🤣
@queueeeee9000 Жыл бұрын
With the white boards, you have to maintain it with the proper cleaner. Quite often, the maintenance workers of a school/university will use excessively harsh chemicals that wear down the coating. The type of board also matters. Tempered glass boards will never leave marks. Porcelain and even more so melamine boards can be prone to streaking and ghosting when the marker is left on for prolonged periods.
@PROProcesss Жыл бұрын
@@paulterhaar4218 I agree with you that plastic boards are also not a novelty, but for school institutions they could also be supplied Of course, interactive whiteboards are a step forward, but I think it would be financially difficult for schools to buy them in classrooms.

@@queueeeee9000 I noticed that if you leave the marker for a few days it is problematic to remove it and after you remove the inscription still appears, it is possible that this is a marker with a very resistant paint, glass chalkboards are also good in its own way but they are not installed in schools because of safety, as you can break and damage the students

I've never been in a school situation where the blackboards were made of genuine slate. Only seen it in movies. I think the labor and weight of the slate would make it expensive for large institutions (unless the school/institution was wealthy, or close to a slate source).

Marrant de voir un pays dit ultra-moderne, et faire encor tout à la main.
Don't get me wrong, I'm 100% all about preserving Old World Craftsmanship & believing we need to train younger generations in the ways of keeping trades alive; blackboards are a thing of the past in schools, & they need to update to Whiteboards (or other electronic visual aids) The reason is quite simple: Health of students & teachers. I come from a background in construction and plant mechanics. Quite often in the past we had to change the way certain things were done, often for health related reasons. Blackboards create a LOT of dust. When I was attending High School back in the 1980's, my school had already started to change over to whiteboards even back then. When we asked the staff why, they simply responded that it was due to the effects of dust. Blackboards & chalk do have their place in the world, along with the trades people that preserve their heritage. I just don't thinks schools are that place anymore.

Should be outlawed. Ever since the days of Windows 3.1, there where plenty of digital boards in which students and teachers could use the stylus to do things with each other. These things just don't cut it anymore, if you want to learn nice and well, use the digital boards with the stylus. NEC is a Japanese company itself and should had swept all of the Japanese schools with digital boards, but they did not want to.

@zygmuntthecacaokakistocrat6589 Жыл бұрын
In Australia, you are not allowed to use blackboards in schools, due to the dangers of chalk dust inhalation, mainly by teachers. I was a teacher, but we used whiteboards with toxic solvents in marker pens instead, which were thrown away after they ran dry. I'd rather use chalk on a damp board, and vacuum up any dust. Less waste generated.
@deadcxap755 Жыл бұрын
What's the problem with not using "toxic" solvents? There are markers based on alcohol, water, and other safe substances. In any case, the amount of solvent in one marker, which will last for several weeks or months, is not capable of in any way harming a person, even if it is drunk, while chalk dust is extremely bad for the lungs and eyes of teachers. Solvent vapors can be easily removed by ventilation, while dust is heavier and can settle on clothing, skin, and the surrounding area. And finally, whiteboards are easy to upgrade to interactive whiteboards - just install a cheap projector and ultrasonic pen sensors. Still, we live in the 21st century, and it is worth at least where there is money to switch to more modern technologies.
