Hi Thanks for sharing. I just bought the *preluxscom* 2 days ago which was on my wish list for my occasion bag, is it worth buying this? The félicie pochette is really nice and classy and you can use it in 4 different ways, so the CA showed me the félicie from the drawer and I checked on it then I asked the CA if he can get another stock so I can compare the one he pulled from the drawer so he did. I noticed that the félicie from the drawer the leather was a bit shiny or glossy while the stock he got the leather was matt so I choose the shiny one that attracted me but I just wondered why they are different and you might have any idea. When I got home I just noticed that when you opened the envelop the back mid fold leather was a little loose is it normal when openning but when its closed its ok no problem (I didn’t noticed in the store and compare to the other one). Any advise will appreciate, I do always love watching your videos.

My ex gf was given a Prada bag by her late grandmother when she graduated college. It meant the world to her. She finally made it and had a real job. 20 years later, she had the bag restored and paid gladly for it. The bag meant everything to her and she cried when she picked it up from the craftsman. It brought back her grandmother and the joy from that moment. The leather is still gorgeous, it just needed to be restitched and a new inner done. I think it looks better than a new one, as it's aged and really shows value. You can always buy new, but you can't replace feeling and memories. Amazing job here!

Are these issues happening if these bags are used daily? I just got the pochette metis in monogram canvas from the Kusama collection. I love the multicolored polka dots and hope they don’t melt on me, lol. But I don’t think it’ll be in my regular rotation. I also have a NoeNoe in DA but only use that a few times a year in the spring and summer so I haven’t put that much wear and tear into it. I hope I don’t see the fraying for a while. Also, I’m saving up for a *preluxscom* . Has your colleague seen the same issues with that size? I don’t mind some relaxation in shape but I don’t want it to be a puddle either. На самом деле, это достаточно обычный ремонт, такое делают часто, если сумка Прада, а к тому же лимитированная, то это не удивляет, что касается мастера, ему вообще не сложно, обычная работа, можно за 1 день сделать.

우리나라는 저런 부분에서 창의력? 같은게 부족하다는 느낌을 받네요 애니메이션 분야에서도 그려내는 기술력은 세계 최고급이라고 하죠 그래서 일본 유수의 애니 회사들이 우리나라 기술자를 최고로 친다고 하네요 근데 정작 애니를 창작하지는 못하죠

@@user-bb9hk9mr4s 창의력이 부족한 것 같지는 않네요. 기술과 창의력은 충분하지만 명품으로 거듭날 국가적 브랜드가 약했고 명품이 되기 위한 투자가 많지 않아서겠죠. 애니도 일본 문화가 개방되고 한국산 만화영화가 엄청 쏟아졌죠. 그런데 지원이 부족하고 애들이 보는 애니 정도로만 취급되어 왔으며 일본 애니가 강세였기 때문에 자연스럽게 수입하는 것이 이익이라는 방향성으로 가면서 한국 애니가 몰락한거죠.

창의력 문제는 아니고 수익창출만을 우선시 하는 기업의 전반적인 시스템 때문인 것으로 보여요. 교육면에서도 요즘은 어떤지 모르겠지만 예전엔 전공생들도 한가지를 꾸준히 발전시키고 심화시키는 교육을 받지 못했고, 그저 수박겉핥기 식으로 이거저거 배우고 졸업하면 회사에 들어가선 처음부터 다시 배워야 하는 경향이 있었어요. 회사에 들어가면 팔리는 디자인 위주로 뽑고, 한국에 들어오지 않은 브랜드 카피에, 동대문 제품에 자기들 브랜드 붙여 파는 택갈이까지 하면서 디자인 자체가 등한시 되었었습니다. 하나의 테마 또는 정신을 가지고 쭉 발전시켜 나가는 그런 기획은 시도하지 않으니 분명 기술은 좋은데 제품의 깊이가 좀 얕았죠. 그래도 요즘은 신진디자이너들이 자기만의 신념으로 하나씩 쌓아가는 브랜드를 만들려고 많이 노력하는걸로 알고있습니다. 물론 그들이 살아남으려면 자본이 함께 받혀줘야 해서 쉽지 않은 길인건 알지만, 그래도 전 보다는 디자인의 중요성에 대한 인식도 많이 바뀌고 발전시키며 이어가려는 젊은 디자이너들이 많아지는 추세인 만큼 분명 이 분야도 성장하고 있다고 믿어요.

@@noblestrength I watched a lot of restoration videos and the luxury brands cut a lot of corners when it comes to quality. The lining and inside of the bag isn't a great material and with time, it is bound to crumb or be separated. The repair shop lady always criticizes how they charge insane price for the brand logo and the material is below the par when you compare it to local cobbler made bags. But I know, ladies need the logo and I understand.

I’m in the trade .... he relined with crappy synthetic material ( stock ).... Prada quality is no good .... so the liners don’t last ... consumers pay many hundreds of dollars to repair what should have lasted many many years ...

Yep. Same here. I have a print shop that is owned by my family. I do hardbound for thesis. There are many similarities there. Is a very hand work.
