nice video but in ip add lookup as u told it will check next hop and exit interface, but both are same it should check destination add and next hop

Your Videos are really good. I request you to make some videos on detailed information on All the Layers functioning, how to capture packets and to understand the captured packets. Also if possible, make some detailed videos specifically protocol based, well known protocols like http, https FTP DNS etc. One last request for now :) ---- Videos on Traffic Engineering

Thank you Sir. One query. After every networking device a new layer-2 and layer-3 headers are being added/changed. Then how the last host comes to know the very first originating host.

thanks for your valuable comment. Dear Daljeet in networking only L3 internetworking device have the power to change l2 header. Router can change L2 header only not L3 bacause if L3 header is changed then all previous routing information will be lost. when a host send some packet to any destination host via using routers then router will forward only the ip packet unaltered , and the original layer 3 information will pass unchanged towards the destination. the destination host will receive the original L3 information from the source host. Its simple if you more question to ask then please comment. thanks 😀

if I have four equal-cost parallel paths to the same destination. I am doing fast switching on two links and process switching on the other two. How will the packets be routed in this situation?

What will happen if these two Routers are connected through Serial links. On serial links ARP or MAC address info. won't pass. Serial link use HDLC encapsulation for the L2 info. Please advise.

One query sir, When Router-1 send data in Router-2 than what will be source mac address and source IP address in Layer -2 Header

the source mac address is the mac address of the outgoing interface of router 1 and destination mac is the incoming interface of router 2. in layer 2 header only mac address are lists, not IP address and IP address are not changed in the whole path from source to destination.
