Hi Stacey! Hope you're feeling better & enjoying your pool for a cpl more weeks. I like this page too - I am inspired to do something similar in my own journal/scrapbook thingy because I have LOVE as a rubber stamp that I want to use (with diff color inks). Doing quotes and positive afirmations is perfect for a creative journal project, is good for the soul, and can be done with little product (or a lot if you have it!) You pick the quote, you pick the colors, papers & mediums you want to play with, and let your creativity do the rest! And yes, youll like using that small kitchen cutting board from the dollar store to apply glue to the papers, then wash it and have it ready for the next day. And dont forget to get some of those little plastic cups from Wendy's that are used to serve ketchup - they're great for mixing acrylics! I glue two pages together when using acrylic paint, or I paint on a separate sheet that I then glue into the book (if I like it ), See you next time!

Hi Vianna! Thank you for your comments and support! I think I’m on the mend, stupid virus lol. And yes by the look of the weather report this week, the grand baby and I should be swimming! Have fun creating! I would love to see your pages also! Have a great day!

Howdy, Stacey! Awe... poor baby... it's terrible when they get sick, isn't it? Healing Bubbles for you both! Thank you for sharing your Commonplace Journal... I've never heard that expression before... was curious to see how you journal! Love that you illustrate quotes and verses. Gorgeous tiger on that other page! Interesting double sided tape. I know exactly how you feel! Even though I do make a lot of videos... if I don't film for a few days, I just sit there and wonder where to begin... feels so strange! HUGs 💜 Blessings & Bubbles🫧

That’s the best part of being on KZbin….. meeting awesome people! Thank you again for enjoying my awkward filming. Also your possum journal is so cute! I’ll be binge watching your channel this weekend!

Hi Stacey! You mentioned feeling awkward and it was nerve wracking after not filming for a bit. It's easy for me to say, "don't feel that way," but don't! lol You're doing a fantastic job and your videos are awesome! That's why I keep coming back! :) I hate it when the wee ones are sick. :( Love from Australia!

@@lindagardellini6321 thank you for the encouragement! It is getting less awkward. I appreciate your support.

Hello Stacey...no need to be nervous, we're all friends here, and no one is judging you. You're doing a great job...working through that fear of starting ur channel, and it's been 3 weeks now...but i get it...not posting video as a routine when u first get the courage to start, then falling ill a couple weeks into it. No worries though 😉...btw, i have 3 girls...33, 29, 27...my middle daughter moved to pittsburg in june of this year, that's crazy...like i said in an earlier video comment, we have a lot in common. 😅...ur page is cute, and good for you that you learned how to splice ur video, good job! ...on to ur next video...❤

@@shannonelliott4046 thank you. It is easier to film consistently. Keeps me in the groove. We do have a lot in common! Pittsburgh is about 3 hours south of me. My brother lived there for quite a lot of years. He moved back home a couple of years ago. Glad you are enjoying the videos!

New sub here. 😸 The Duck double-sided tape was probably meant for crafting. Duck made excellent washi tape, called Duck Washi, that I would always get a couple of rolls of when I went to Walmart. I haven't been able to find any for years, though, so maybe the brand has moved away from crafting stuff, which is a shame.

@@superhuckie thank you for the information. I do remember seeing Washi tape with that brand name now that you say that.
