In the processing of mace, the red-colored aril is removed from the nutmeg that it envelops and is flattened out and dried for 10 to 14 days under shade; its colour changes to pale yellow, orange, or tan. The mace is detached, flattened and dried in sun on mats for 3-5 days.
जावित्री के प्रसंस्करण में जायफल के ऊपर से लाल रंग के बीज को निकाल कर चपटा करके छाया में 10 से 14 दिन तक सुखाया जाता है। इसका रंग हल्के पीले, नारंगी या तन में बदल जाता है। जावित्री को अलग करके चपटा करके धूप में 3-5 दिनों तक धूप में सुखाया जाता है |
