Thank you for this wonderful video. I was amazed at how fast they balanced the rotor; in my younger years I used to do it and it took quite a long time. Glad to see that some old techniques are hard to die, and are still used today: the use of a humble screwdriver to check the ball-bearings. Thank you Mitsubishi Electric.

Très beau reportage qui met en valeur le travail de personnes très professionnelles, précises, rapides. L'oreille avec un tournevis est un excellent analyseur de spectre. the way they balance the rotors is genius. adding the balancing weights and then just cut them off as needed is just brilliant

​@@Agentsimblrsk они их красят. Просто нет требования например работы во влажной среде. Да и просто так напроектировали, тепло отводит и ладно+дёшево. Нержавку на асинхронных не применяют, повсеместно чугун, алюминий, сталь уже реже.

@@ivanovoBrush У них технологии и покраска на высоком уровне .Машины 90 х годов до сих пор катаются по дорогам. Алюминий дорогой . Япония на ресурсы бедная страна.

@@АндрейИльин-ч9у, вроде как литой алюминий дешевле должен быть: не надо отдельно наваривать ребра + можно не красить, экономия от этих двух операций покроет удорожание за счёт алюминия + лучше теплоотвод

Great video! I think "burnish work" at @16:44 should be "varnish work". They are dipping and encapsulating the stators in varnish at that point.

Interesting to see that the hull is made with sheet, and has the fins welded on. I would have always assumed this was a cast part.

I install and align motors all the time in an industrial setting and those motors that were shown running at the end were pretty noisy to me. I use the Roto-line from Germany, don’t know the spelling for the German name but that’s what we call it. Very interesting video on motors, I enjoyed it immensely, it’s always nice to see how they make it.

it's MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC 👍 it's MADE IN JAPAN👍 it's definitely good quality👍👍, many 3 phase motor today is made in china, they're using cheap aluminum winding it won't last long

Can anyone guess at the motor hp ? I think it's 50hp. Beautiful attention to detail and testing, especially balancing & long skinny screwdriver for high frequency bearing sounds. Industrial electricians like myself really appreciate the pre-installed connection terminal block (not all manufacturers do this). Excellent video, thanks.

Если автор не может себе это позволить, то все равно спасибо за видео - познавательно. Работал на Белорусском Металлургическом Заводе электромонтёром. Собирал/разбирал сименсы. За механообработку и сварку тоже погутарить могу. Чтож, мое почтение Митцубиши.

На 16:34 при испытании статора забыли сделать главное! А именно БРОСИТЬ СТАЛЬНОЙ ШАРИК! Если шарик бежит по статору вокруг - значит есть вращающее магнитное поле!
