Ein sehr schönes und sehr gutes Handwerk. Toll, dass es so etwas auch in Zeiten industrieller Massenproduktion noch gibt.

I have their desk pen! :D I bought it to write in my hunting journal.. I spent time in many stationary shops in Tokyo and Kyoto until I found the one that is best for my big hands and my classic curly handwriting. It is the cheapest fountain pen I own, but by far the best.

Platinum makes wonderful pens! I treasure my collection of various Platinum pens, with nibs ranging from Extra Fine to Medium to Broad. It was fascinating watching the assembly process, so thank you for uploading this very interesting video!

As a foregin consumer, I think that the Quality Control of japanese pen companies is much better than that of western pen companies such as Pelikan or Parker.
Hàng Nhật Bản sản xuất thì còn gì nữa. Luôn luôn chất lượng cao tuyệt vời..🇯🇵👍

Thank you for this wonderful video! I love my Platinum 3776 in Laurel Green/Gold. Platinum nibs are phenomenal! I favor Japanese nibs because my writing is very small and the fineness of Japanese nibs is absolutely superior!!! I love Platinum!

Platinum fountain pens are very well known in the fountain pen world and widely distributed! Chances are you may find one at your local stationery shop! One of their most famous and reliable writers is the 3776 century fountain pen, which I think is the one we see being produced in the video. I would recommend getting a converter so you can use bottled ink! Depending on where you are located, there are many places to get one.

The plant of platinum pen co is pretty small than my thought. Now I understand, why fountain pen enthuasists call platinum pen co. as an one of minor FP company compare to Pilot. BTW, the style of the tipping material of platinum pen is pretty old style. Old Parker and Sheaffer pen co. or european companies used those style, but not now.
Could be the last (and maybe the best) pen money can buy

This really explains why gold nib pens are so expensive. It’s not the cost of the materials (there’s very little gold, after all). They’re expensive because of all the labor that goes into producing them.
