The Range Rover Sport has plenty of torque when changing gears with paddle shifters and the handling is responsive in dynamic mode. Would you take it off road for the price? Maybe an expensive fix if you break something or get stuck. Torque vectoring, 2-Speed Transfer Cases and locking differential can get you out of a bad spot.

I have a 2014 of this same Rover. V8, 510HP. Two years I've owned it. ZERO problems or issues.

So, my last rover was a 17 svr, I bought it in 2020 with 47k miles, sold it with 90k miles and all I did was oil changes, transfercase fluid, battery, o2 sensor….overall was amazing from summer to winter, never left me stranded. Then I had a 2015 sc hse “big one”, sold that with 145k miles, I put over 65k miles in 3 years on that. Alternator, starter, battery, brakes and basic maintenance, long story short I’ve had 6 rovers from 2012-2020 models, currently driving a 19 sport autobiography, wife has a 2020 lwb sc, they are amazing! We’ve had more issues with our navigator and Escalades.
