Glad you enjoyed the video. It is a great entry level printer!

Super slick that they auto-fill now. I used a heat transfer system in my classroom back in the day. This looks way more slick!! Great job keeping the steps clear and concise.
@TripodsGarage14 күн бұрын
Yeah the autofill is a great standout feature, along with the auto white cycling, and auto head cleaning.. Thanks for watching and commenting!

John, looks like a good system, and fun to work with. I am too deep into 3D printers to get involved with a new project, but my grand daughter would love this. The price seems reasonable since you get everything to get started

Yeah, this is a terrific deal! People that try to convert a standard inkjet into a DTF typically have major issues and isn't worth it. It is nice that is has automatic circulation and cleaning cycles. Maddie has been ordering DTF transfers and cannot wait to start using it!

It is! Think I am going to add casters to it, with a nice paint job. Any recommendations on the painting of it?

Can you do a video on maintenance and keeping it from clogging. Does this machine require the dreaded "shake" to avoid clogging?
@45debo6 күн бұрын
Where can I get one?

I have seen other DTF videos where they press the image a 2nd time after the clear film is removed and it seems to make the image more bright and supposedly last longer - does this system not require that?

Yes

*Excellent video John!* I still order my DTF transfers online... can't afford one myself! _When do I get my Tripod's Garage tee?? Size 2X._ 🤪
@TripodsGarage17 күн бұрын
Thanks! Yeah, no more ordering DTF transfers online for us! Unless we want them bigger 😉. Guess I will need to order more 2x size tee shirt blanks 😄

Great rundown of the machine. I think the Kickstarter is for the printer only, the oven would be extra i think? I placed a deposit as it seems like it can be a great machine.
@TripodsGarage15 күн бұрын
I did ask before making the video, if the oven was included, they said “Yes!”.
@Spirited28215 күн бұрын
@@TripodsGarage Thank you, the product page does not mention the oven so was just wondering. But they told you yes so that is great news and makes the purchase more worthwhile

Vocês tem no Brasil algum representante? É com tintas que nos mesmos recarregamos? Mesmo que as jatos de tinta? Qual o valor?

The only reservation I have is: What will be the TCO(total cost of ownership) for replacing ink, paper roll to print on etc. Cause we can see what is supplied will be gone soon enough!
@TripodsGarage14 күн бұрын
You are correct! There are options to purchase the film and ink from other manufactures, at lower prices. A DTF printer is not cheap to maintain. However, if you are using the printer daily or a couple times a week for orders, those maintenance cost go down.

for that price for beginner i think it's to expensive, compare to with tutorials for converted epson printer... Yes this more refined, but a4 size for 2k i think not worth it

There are many that have done a Epson CISS, and I get what you are saying. As my daughter has been doing a sublimation conversion for a while, got fed up, and finally purchased a dedicated machine. If doing a CISS is the path you want, by all means do it!

Hello John, First time Sub and like what I hear. Do you know which company makes them, and do you have a connection with them? I was working while listening, and didn't hear if you got this sent to you or if you purchased the unit? If you have time for a call, i'll send you an email. I'm working on a program to get these for all of our locations across the USA... Jeff
