@@cherryjasper1728 Vector base is the exact opposite of pixelisation. It's a bitmap based program and therefore it enlarges the actual pixels. If you want 0 loss, use illustratir

Change the setting to Bicubic. It will not pixelate when you transform it then.

I used to draw everyday when I was in school and It was my passion. I would always doodle and draw when I was in class to help me absorb what I was listening. But after school...I just stopped and I'm terrified to get back again.I guess I always thought it was like riding a bike and I'd always remember how to draw. But after 10 years, I've lost a lot, I don't even have a style anymore. I'm still scared but I'm getting an iPad for my birthday and I'm going to really try to be the artist I want to be. Your videos really help with my anxiety about hoping back in and not being good enough. Procreate really feels like a warm safety net for me lol thank you!

Procreate 5 is amazing. Would you be able to do a quick Procreate 5 'export CMYK for print' tutorial video? That would be really useful to see if you can get quality files for printing non-vectored book illustrations right from Procreate 5 on the iPad. TIFF, PSD, PDF? Maybe a second part of that on how you could vectorize a finished procreate 5 illustration on the iPad for printing at larger scale?

All you have to pay is the 10USD (its 10usd for me, i dont know what currency you have where you are or how much it would be there) All you have to pay is the price listed on the app store, there are no ads or in app purchases! The only way you’d pay more is if you wanted to buy brush packs, but thats 100% optional because procreate offers over 100 brushes for free! I hope that helps, happy holidays

Lisa I thank you for your brilliant teaching vlogs and the details that push us to try different things, I recently updated the Procreate app after seeing your tutorial on this, however I have checked your video several times, at the point you are explaining animation and adding a background and foreground, one has to be very quick to see which section of the brush list you go to, to get Grass, as you explain it as one of many new tools or brushes that have been added, I got it as Spray-paint, but having already looked, it is not there, I also notice that your lists seem much longer, implying that there are other things that have either not been included or are not universal in respects of country, something I find wrong, with the digital age we live in. I have updated to the latest Apple update and I have a 11” pro iPad. Could you let me know your thoughts on this. Regards David U.K. Lyndhurst New Forest.

Excellent video Lisa. 👍 Informative, clear and well paced. I’ve just upgraded to Procreate 5 and this is exactly what I wanted. As an aside I’ve used Procreate for my cartoons for a few years but I still clicked on your Jan 19 Introduction video for what I thought would be simply be a quick refresher of the basics before this new feature set. I was very happily surprised to find out things I didn’t know that were right under my nose the whole time. Thank you for this, you now have a new subscriber.

You should try to use it as motivation to get better. You don't have to learn to draw alone. Their are tutorials and classes that can help you. Better if you have someone guide you at first at some skills then come your own discovery in art.

It depends on the brush! Try the Aurora brush in the Artistic set. Does it look multi-hued when you paint with it?
