Your composition is so good that I thought you were slowly zooming in on the painting the whole video. but after looking really hard, I think the picture just makes you feel like you are being drawn in. Fantastic job!

Start by drawing big shapes and practice color theory a lot before trying to focus in on small details- often times drawing vague, Impressionism style paintings first is the best way to start.

@JJcanvas6 жыл бұрын
Procreate does all the recording, although I'm still not sure how it manages the file size, since this one was much lower quality than usual for some reason :( But since ProCreate always makes a time-lapse the file size is never huge.

Hi Jorje i would like to ask something... why always this red head girl in your paintings??? Is her has a meaning for you??. Who is this girl?? and moreover i think you have find your "art harbor" with procreate app. right??:p... oh and something more... your painting "Half remembered ruins" made me to start digital painting... i was so elated with this painting that made me to order an intuos tablet the next day... THANK YOU JORJE you are a great inspiration for me keep traveling us in fantasy lands where everything is wonderfull 🙏🙏
@xiphosura4136 жыл бұрын
Half remembered ruins is among my favourites, alongside time has been kind. As for the girl in the white dress, I know of a few other artists that also include a red haired girl with a white dress in some of their landscapes, and many more that have some other character. I think it helps with a sense of scale, and gives a nice bit of contrast as well as another feature for the eye to catch.
@JJcanvas5 жыл бұрын
I like to keep the story of the red hair up to the viewer! I have my own of course but I think the sense of mystery is always nice :) I also almost always include characters to show the scale of the environment :) thank you for the kind words and I'm super glad you are taking up digital painting!! It's a very rewarding endeavour !
