Procreate Dreams & Long Term Projects: My Thoughts and Impressions

I'm 4 months into my first long term project in Procreate Dreams. This app is really working for me in terms of basic layout and storyboarding but as I near completion of my backgrounds and assets, I find the app a struggle to maintain workflow without constant frustration.
This quick overview shows the lengthy process of personal creation and decision making from a non-animator; I'm just an artist who likes challenging myself with new mediums.

Thanks for sharing. It looks like you’re going to have a very nice short when you’re done. And thanks for your honesty about Procreate Dreams… I’ve had it from the beginning, thinking it was going to add so much more,,,Maybe it can and maybe it will in the future,,but for now its too frustrating to work with the time line and the crashes,,,,the challenge to use it is taking away form the experience of creating,,,thanks again and all the best.

thanks so much for watching! In a few years I think Dreams will be great. However, it really did push me deeper into considering animation as a more consistent part of my art practice, even if I use other software haha

I had ago at it when dreams was release. Was fun. Yeah, lots of work I can tell. 2 minutes is a long time for a flipnote content lol. Looks like it’s coming along nicely though. I’m looking forward to it👌

thank you! oh yeah--I barely use the flip note, only for the frame-by-frame things which Im keeping to only figures or other assets. I think the flip note could be improved too, I feel it takes up too much of the screen even when minimized and it has this weird faint shadow that annoys me
