I just installed my pro 2100 with the help of this video and the video is very helpful. I waited roughly 40 minutes after feeding the printer the coated test paper before it finished “preparing the ink system” so if it’s making anyone else wait, don’t stress bruv

Thanks for this - helpful in setting up my Pro-2600. Just a few differences, but overall, quite similar. With the new Pro-2600, the stand pieces are UNDER all of the ink cartridges and so on, so it's a little bit of a mess getting those out so the printer can be put on the stand. Also, the Pro-2600 does a self-calibration, so that step isn't necessary - and no paper is included. I suggest getting some Canon paper to do test prints. I got a 24" roll of the Canon Glossy photo paper 240. It is in the printer's data base, so it knows what to do with it. Also, another necessary step is having to download and install the printer driver from Canon's site. I am using it with the ImagePrint RIP v13 (it also controls my Graphtec CE-7000-60 cutter), and it does a great job. Moving up from a 15 yr old Epson 4880, so I'm a little blown away. But wanted to say thanks for the video!

I’m not even sure canon is making anything lately. 2100 and 4100 are out of stock. I been told 4-6 weeks since January and it’s now May lol. Still told 4-6 weeks. Thanks for the great video.

My door is 29 5/16 wide, and they got the printer through, barely. They did have to remove the door stopper. The official dimensions of the printer piece only are Approx. 62.8 x 28.9 x 24.8 in. (1593 x 734 x 628 mm) The challenge is that the 28.9 is what you'll need to get through the door. Not the 24.8, which is the height. You think you can just turn it, but because it is a printer the weight-bearing portions are on the bottom and there's very little space to hold the weight if you try to turn it (on the back, only the lower two corners have weight bearing points. So if you try to put the printer on it's back, the only two weight-bearing points are on the same side and it's too big and heavy and awkward for that to work).

Hello,everytime I start the 4000S,it shows"wait until the system has been filled with ink".Is this normal?does it already cost some ink though I dont print anything?thanks for any idea.

The initial paper alignment should not be inserted lengthwise. For standard alignments, they take 4 sheets of letter size 8.5x11 or in this case one sheet of A2 if it were fed in short end.

I've seen the dimensions of the box and when the printer is assembled but could you comment on the dimensions before assembly? Interested in buying but I'm not sure if it fits through a typical doorway

it doesn't in the box! I just received mine today on a pallet. You will have to open the box outside, bring in a stand and little details and then sideways you can bring the printer in and load it on the assembled stand. Minimum 2 strong people required to lift the printer and third to look underneath to align while loading.
