Nice tele KG! KG I wish you'd covered the QN95C. Ive watched your videos on led tvs for years and you talked me into going that way Yes oled is king of contrast..but youve shown that with some scenes and some games led is still brighter. Im deffo going to upgrade to qd oled one day...but so far im very impressed with the qn95c.

Now that you got your hands on the QN85D, do you still think it is worth losing 85” to get 77” OLED for 10ft distance viewing? Vertical of angle viewing is bad just like horizontal?

vertical viewing angle will be impacted yes, I would personally just buy the S89C 77" for $1,799 right now that I posted on my channel's community tab you really can't go wrong with that TV.

After doing my research on Tv's 75" and bigger I decided on the QN90D. The base I have on mine is different and seems to be more stable. I was looking for a larger model but decided to buy the QN90D It fits my room perfectly and with my Bose surround sound system it looks and sound great. I paid a little more for my entire systems but was well worth the price. This video was the reason I choose the QN90D. Thanks for all the recommendations.

To me I’d say A80L is a better TV, if you have the option to get A75L if buying 55 or 65 inch you can save a bit as it performs the same as the A80L.

@@9to5techs S90D is going to be a better TV but it really depends on how far you are sitting. I'd guess S90D probably can last you 5-6 years on average same thing with the QN90D unless you get lucky or unlucky. QN85D and QN90D are close but QN90D is better has better HDR and higher brightness. Seating distance is key though I think.

Need an advise, if possible: Choosing from QE65QN85D, QE65Q80D and QE65QN85C First two are the same price pretty much and the qn85c is about 20% higher price. The main concern is VA vs ADS. How it will be impacted on my experience (movies, shows, Xbox)? Should I stick to VA, or can “upgrade” to ADS? My current tv is QE50Q67C (buying a new one for new room). And before that I had QE43Q67A. Both had VA as far as I know. What would I get by changing to ADS?

I would say don’t get too caught up in VA vs ADS its not too different with these TVs in many cases, go for QN85D contrast wise it’s the best of the 3. QN85D is VA.

both NEO QLED and QNED with mini led quantam dot are very close to OLED in appearance, yes OLED is better, think of NEO QLED AND QNED as : as close as your going to get to oled without the burnin. dam close enough the Q's for the win.

Agreed. When I was at Best Buy all the QLEDs looked as good as the OLEDs, with the exception of the S90C which looked better than anything.

VA panels seem to be preferred by the community over IPS panels because of the deeper blacks - interesting you did not like it

The 85c has alot more dimming zones and 60W of audio. The 85d has far fewer dimming zones and 40W of audio. On paper the D seems like a downgrade but I've read online from various sources that the algorithm on the D is so superior that you don't notice the reduction in dimming zones. Plus D has a VA panel for better contrast, but weaker viewing angles than C. It's a tough choice when both are priced similarly.
