I love the idea of the mic. Being able to change the configuration after recording with the Lewitt Polarizer plugin is fantastic. It really unleashes the power of digital processing. The great thing is committing to a sound during recording is no contradiction. That's fantastic. That mic rocks! Thanks for the great video!

To my mind this is the best sub£1000 mic I've ever heard. In fact I used it over a Vintage U67 last week and the results were amazing. I am buying this mic for myself after watching your vid. Salutations from London.

Seemed like going to the back of the mic toned down all the boom from the guitar body and could make it sit better in a mix. What a great way to cut mud since doing it EQ can be difficult.

First of all the new quality of the video is beautiful. Again everyone involved has upped their game and it has paid off. Congrats to everyone it's visually stunning and high quality. If it's new lights or camera I don't know and doesn't matter. The changing of the focal point of the camera works really well. Yeah I'm very impressed. To the Lewitt what can I say, amazing. That mic blew my mind a year or so ago and did it again now. Record one take and be able to have a room and direct mic on one mic is crazy. Duplicating a take and have a room mic sound near as to perfect phase is game changing and all with a simple plug in. I would take my hat off to Lewitt but I never put it back on. Lewitt would just make me take it off again ha.

Great video, thanks! If I use the mic for vocals only and cardioid all the time, woud a cheaper Lewitt have the save sound? E.g. the 540 or the 440?

Now 3 uears later i think Antelope was the first in 2018 with the Edge duo but this could also be the first where you can also change the polar afterwards only they point more on the emulation, however this si exactly what you can do with the Edge duo too. I like Lewitts mics too but i also like my edge duo’s

Awesome video and giveaway as ever Warren 😄 thank you very much as always for the opportunity I have to say listening to this mic through a good set of headphones really does it justice - for point of reference, I'm using a pair of Bang & Olufsen Beoplay 2nd Generation H6's. Plus another benefit is that when you were using and demonstrating the Lewitt Polarizer plugin - which looks fantastically dead easy to use you can really hear the subtle differences between the different settings/polar patterns which are pretty awesome.

Mmmm yes yes but there are so many good mikes out there (some very cheap and some expensive) and unless you A B them which 99% do not you can make nearly all mikes of a standard with a bit of EQing sound very acceptable. Kids you do not need expensive mics!

This mic is absolutely FANTASTIC!!! Just looking for the best settings for vocals... I use it in an isovox 2 booth an everything is super crisp and clean, but my voice lacks something and I believe it's just the settings that takes some stuff away (need some more production studying, that's for sure, a lot of bells and whistles on this one, for those that do not want the bells, get the lewitt lct 440 pure), but the fact that every lewitt mic of the same line is perfectionally in sync and can be used as a duo and have exactly the same sound makes me want to win this giveaway, it would be great for a drumset to have a left right combo or even top/bottom with the dual capsules... (would be the first time I win anything, so please hope with me this one will be mine for once :) )might save me from buying a complete dum setup mic set (at least for my genre of music). Once again a wonderfull review Warren, this mic is - for me at least - the one to rule them all at this time in production universe.
