So they are a part of YGs Japan branch in collab with AVEX? And they’re trained in YG but they’re not affiliated…. I’m confused So Blackpink got popular because of their label and the hype surrounding their seniors. They stayed popular by getting brand deals and being mega influencers basically. The least notable thing about them is what they were trained to do which is music. This group however… imagine if they really were YG’s new group. Imagine. The charisma isn’t rookie level. All their vocals are there. The rappers have discernible tones and they’re both really good. Damn.

not collaborating with YG JAPAN. They are not part of YG. YG JAPAN and AVEX partnership is called YGEX and it is only for YG artists promotion in Japan. XG debut in AVEX not YGEX. The XG label is XGALX/AVEX JAPAN the person who created this group is a 2nd generation kpop group DMTN member JAKOPS Simon (Japanese and korean half/nationarity is japanese/a one time AVEX trainee)and he started this company of XGALX which is a subsidiary of avex japan.

People said that they're not connected to YG Entertainment (Korea) but this group is a project collaboration of AVEX and YGEX (YG Japan). I'm not sure as no side has even released a statement like the background of this company is too hidden hahahahha

@ME & I YG Japan is a different company from YG Korea. YG Japan is called YGEX- a subsidiary company under AVEX but is in partnership with YG Japan. That's why YG Japan Trainees will never be mixed with YG Korea trainees unless they bring the YG Japan Trainees to Korea for training just like Haruto, Yoshi, Mashiho, Asahi. Once YG Japan Trainees are brought to Korea for training just like the 4 Mentioned then they're expected to debut in Korea. YG Japan Trainees who are kept in Japan will be under Japan. But YG Japan is a quiet company, they're more focused on training trainees. They haven't announced that they will debut trainees but announced YG Japan's partnership with AVEX.

@ME & I it's actually confusing how they label their relationship as a Korean and Japanese company. But YG Japan is more of a training company. Some selected YG Japan Trainees were flown to YG Korea. Meanwhile with AVEX's partnership with YG japan, trainees get to train under YG's training facilities and resources but debuting under AVEX. YG Japan looks like it's not planning to debut trainees under their roof but will just train them and have the trainees debut under YG Korea and AVEX.

🌎Fun Facts: XG is almost K-POP band. Korean dancer(Hyojin Choi) made XG’s choreography, Korean producer(Jacops) made XG’s song & music. And XG is trained in Korea for 5 years by K-POP training system. But all the members are Japanese.

I would like to refute this "fun fact". (1) Producer Simon Sakai (JAKOPS) is a Japanese national and seems to be a former AVEX trainee. That person collaborated with Japanese company AVEX to produce XG in a project called XGALX. (2) Tippy Toes is full-length English R & B, HIPHOP, and transcendental dance. That's it. (3) The composition team this time is three people including Simon who is Japanese, and the lyricist is an American. (4) Who is the choreography of the dance of Tippy Toes has not been announced (it is not stated as Mr. Choi). (5) Development investment for XG members is made up of AVEX capital. → Overall, it's not that much K-POP ... Right?

The first video was uploaded in February 2022. Given that, they may have been in South Korea for preparation in 2021. From such a thing, I think Simon's four years mean the four years from 2017 to 2021.
