You just need to have a little idea about what they have been through back in 2017 in terms of how they were witchhunted by the media, by the other fandoms, the hate articles on Pann, the bad results they got with Blingbling, the number of fans they lost because of lack of domestic promotions and their very long hiatus, how their company only saw them as a Japan touring machine and cash cows or how they were not allowed to cry. iKON is amazing, talented and so underrated 😊 “I’m OK” completes the break up circle starting from “Love Scenario” to “Killing Me” and then “Goodbye Road” before well, “I’m OK”. The first part of “I’m OK” is about life and second part is about the break up. I love them from day one from when they were known as “team B” ❤️ thank you for reacting to iKON!

I’ve been waiting for this since yesterday!! ❤️😩 try listening to it 3 times straight & you won’t be able to stop 😂 I get the “old mv” vibe when I watch it though. And since it’s somewhat like a “series” I get the whole from happy (love scenario), to mad (killing me), to sad (goodbye road), to super sad (i’m ok) feeling from ikon’s album. i hope their next comeback will be a bit more hype and happy but no complaints 🙅🏻‍♀️ I LOVE THEM

Ok, first, yes, I like this. I find it really interesting when ppl who actualy work with or truly know about something give their insight and share their thoughts on things we enjoy in a different way. So I loved the break-down of the MV. Second, the song is so relatable, it touches so many things in so many ways, ppl feel it hit home in some way or another and you can see how it prompts so many to open up and share their own take on it. If you check the coment section of the MV, you'll see so many ppl sharing their issues and experiences, and then comforting each other. It really is a crazy, amazing, and sad thing, too see so many out there needing to let out but not doing it for a different array of reasons. But this song gave way to it, to conversation or, at the very least, to unwind and speak out. It's also a bit sad to think of the head space they were when writing this (and other songs), because sometimes you can't be so sure how much was inspired by whatever they saw or read (in Hanbin's case), and how much is actually his own and the members' feelings speaking. How much of it is actually a vehicle to convey their own emotions, I personally don't feel this as a break up song, at all. Finally, I appreaciate a lot how you always keep honest to your opinion in your reactions, but at the same time remain sensible and kind. Or maybe it's just the way I percieve it, but I like that a lot :) So I'm really happy that past your first impression of the boys, they worked their way to make you want to actually know them. That's great!

After thinking about it, this song could have more than a love-breakup meaning, like, it represents all the people that are facing difficulties in their life and try to use the word "I´m ok" as a wall, like a lie trying to let people know you really not ok... for example all the mental sick people like the ones who suffered depression who isn´t able to talk it out

I think for the luggage breakdown scene (?), it’s possible that it wasn’t him that broke it down in the story line but rather it collapsed itself, symbolising he can no longer hold in his trapped emotions from his memories, and the scene where he is running towards the “luggage cube” is symbolising him wanting to show one of the trapped emotions or relieve himself by letting memories go but linking back my other idea, he ends up breaking down emotionally. Just a theory.

The date was their debut date. Winner was Aug 15 2014, they were Sept 15 2015 (particularly liked that it was both 15). I wonder if you watch their BTS before reacting (assuming you did not due to date you posted this). But for the luggage wall the back part was actually Green Screen and for Jinani's part-the bottles set-it was supposedly meant to mean being empty inside like having bottled up or so. Oh, and I'm going to mention Winner again, not sure if you have watched Fool yet but check it out and I'd like to see your comment on that. I enjoy your reviews.

It's a wall of luggage because everyone has to carry some kind of emotional luggage with him (gets visualised beautifully in a HIMYM episode). He seems to be carrying that much luggage that he's no longer able to carry it with him, and is blocking him, represented by the wall. Edit: The plastic bottle sceen is also kind of distorting as in for example in stilllives the objects are often ramping up from left to right. Here it is from right to left. The normal flow of looking from left to right gets interrupted here, although that effect is not as strong, as the higher placed bottles are more in the background.

The date on the licence plate is in fact their debut dute. This solidifys the fact that the mv and lyrics are not simply about a girl or a break up but it tells the story behind their debut and the struggles they faced while becoming and being ikon. Like every idol, ikon has to always show their 'positive' side to the public so when fans ask them if they're okay thats all they can say. Not only are they trying to convince us that they're okay but themselves as well. It's really heart breaking tbh P.s you should DEFINITELY carry on with this new segment PD!!

this is my favorite comeback and song/mv out of their four (three in 2018). the lyrics really hit hard and although the off key background inst is jarring at first, it has such an emotional tone that catches you on the second listen. the mv is beautifully ominous and I love the symbolism. my new favorite song omg!

Oh, so it's not just me who noticed the similar vibes from Day 6 "Shoot Me" and iKON "I'M OK" :D I'm really mesmerized and deeply touched by both songs, they're both depressing but healing at the same time, and HQ music and cinematographic wise, these both groups are so good, thanks to them for producing some legendary songs that speak to people's hearts both as band and idol group %) Hope to see more from both Day6 and iKON like that.

I personally can’t wait to see more videos of you breaking down the visual aspects of the music videos. When I watch/react to music videos (like anyone else) I do notice the obvious/in-your-face visuals like lighting, colours, props they used, etc in the music video, but I appreciate you going into it, because then it brings me a new found level of love for that particular music video. But I also enjoy watching you break down the music video since I have a some-what interest in cinematography because of my younger sister who is hella deep into it. She wants a career in that direction, and being the only girl sibling who’s close to her age and sharing a room with her all her life, we always rant about our interests and what we’ve seen/watched back and forth to each other. So she’ll sometimes go really deep into ranting/talking about something she learnt in class or things she noticed in a movie she watched that she found really cool. It’s gotten to the point that now even I’ll sub-consciously notice if something I’m watching has the blue and orange effect 😂😂😂 But yea, as I said; I can’t wait to see more of these videos 😁💕
